How can they snap out of it? Fatty here asking.

Willpower.

Once fat cells are established they never go away

legitimately couldn't tell you why but I was fat as fuck literally my whole life and now I'm/fit/ don't know what changed or why but now I eat less, think about food differently and are healthy.

Because losing weight requires discipline, which most humans don't have

Its easy to learn bad habits, as they are comfortable, but they are difficult to get rid off.
Pluss your stomach expands to accomodate larger meals, so does your gut flora.
So when you try to lose weight they will notice change.

Makes me laugh everytime I see one of those feel sorry for boogie videos.

I struggled for years to drop weight trying raw veganism, keto, and paleo. What I realized was, for me, these were not sustainable.

Losing weight is hard until you put it into perspective. Everyone wants fast results but you didn't get to be a fatty overnight. It took time. This makes you understand that losing weight will be a journey that will only be done with lifestyle changes not meme diets.

Making changes without immediate results is hard for fatties but I just kept telling myself "You didn't get this way overnight so it will take time to get healthy again". Once you see results it becomes addicting because you know what you are doing is working and for me it's sustainable.

Then when you're on your path down the scale you realize that if you eat properly and exercise for a majority of the time then in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter if you indulge with friends/family occasionally because why be disciplined 90% of the time and not enjoy life when it presents itself.

Currently down to 260 from 320 since August of last year with no signs of stopping.

Two reasons. Ignorance and lack of discipline.

Most people are ignorant as fuck about eating healthy and exercise. They think that doing 10 pushups a day will make them look like Arnie and that eating nothing but grapefruit is a good diet plan.

Their ignorance completely sabotages any effort that they put into getting healthy.

They also mostly lack discipline. If you sit them down and show them what to eat and how to work out, they lack the discipline to do it. I have seen it dozens of times.

I've got a friend who was 420lb, worked his way down to 280 in a year, got free gym membership and was on the NHS priority list for a stomach and chest uplift when he got down to 220 but says being that weight gave him IBS and he was miserable/starving and so he's ballooned back 364. The thing is everyone around him accepted it or were too scared to pass judgment.

You are gonna make it brah, this is what fat ppl needs to learn, was like you but Keto worked for me because it cut my cravings, cheers

You first need to make sure you eat healthy and get all your nutrients, which will reduce the likelihood of various type of craving. One thing that will often happen is that fat people will eat like crap and will then overeat on bad stuff because their bodies are in a constant state of deficiency for which they're trying to compensate.

The likelihood of obese people losing weight on a nutrient optimal diet is pretty high. If they restrict their eating to an 8 hour window it's even better. If they eat in such a way that they train their bodies to primarily use fat, it's even better. If they take care of their fucking gut flora, it's even better.

It's called setpoint. Your weight is determined the moment you are born and you can do nothing about getting this weight. Whenever you start to cut, your body will give you hormones to feel hungry and eat even more.

You should better start to accept your body and start to love yourself.

Great post, good job fatty keep it up

Because they have no reason or desire to.

Fat people with a purpose and desire to lose weight, usually do it.

His shit must smell like hell

>these are the types of question fat storage units ask themselves

Do fat people really believe this or are they just looking for an excuse not to lose weight?

They have to have a sense of shame
A fatty with a sense of shame will wake up when he sits down and the chair breaks from underneath him
A fatty without shame (Boogie) will laugh it off and continue bloating until death

>"fat" people trying to lose weight over years
>won't lose weight no matter how much they cut
>so their bodies are preventing them from losing weight

QED set point is real for some people

this pretty much. and another thing - the inexplicable nature of people to listen to people in shape last. they're rather listen to fat moira the receptionist about dieting than someone who has actually dieted successfully. i think its because they want to hear what they want to hear.

>adding liquid sugar to sugar nut sugarios

...

Because eating food is several times more satisfying and several times easier than changing your lifestyle, your environment, compounds of your habits and also developing the long term discipline needed to consistently eat well.

It's easy for us lean and fit people because we've been doing it for ages and have it down pat. Conversely, it gets harder and harder and involves more and more effort for longer and longer periods of time the more and more weight you gain.

CALORIE THIEVING

Post your current body bro
Let us see what determination is

>don't regulate insulin level
>shit blood glucose level
>trigger body to store fat all the fucking time
>don't lose weight

Hmmmmmmmmmm....

When you've been miserable for a long time, being miserable works for you.

Breaking out of this is one of the big challenges in life. It's a spiritual journey.

Also: I hope Boogie wont die.

another proof that set point is real

For me it was because I had a bad memory. Would try eating differently and exercising for months.

Every time I looked at the scale I saw the same weight.

Once I started writing down my weight I realised I was actually losing weight. Felt amazing and convinced me to keep going.

It scares me that some people are dumb enough to believe they defy the laws of physics and 100% of what we've studied about the human body.

Please stop getting your nutrition advice from blogs.

My trips override these dubs.

How is this even possible?

hormones and addiction, hormones drive the need for more food that in turn drives this food/sugar addiction they got going on, and unless something drastic happens they just happily grow inside this vicious cycle

for me it was my reflection one day a few years ago where i saw myself, truly saw myself, what i had become, and by US standards i wasnt even that fat, 216 @ 5'11, but i was fat as fuck, 30+ %bf easily, that image, that realization broke through and started me on the journey

but there are people who are content with getting fatter even knowingly at the cost of their health, i have an uncle, typ 2 diabetic, on 3 kinds of medications, if he changed his diet he would lose weight and could in time reduce or stop the pills alltogether, but does he do it ? hell no

its like with addicts, they need to want to do the first step, otherwise its doomed to fail

how long till he ends up in the hospital? How long till he finally dead?
I don't know how old he is (40?) but i guess 1-2 years max till he gets a stroke/heart attack/start vlogging from hospital and 5-6 years till death

/thread
everything else is bullshit, nothing more nothing less.

What is happening now might be the start of the end. He refuses to go to the doctors for whatever fucking reason as his broken arsehole gets worse and worse.

Would not be surprised if it never heals and he dies in a few years just from that, or his body works so hard trying to repair it that it cant support the rest of his body's immune system and just gives up.

>5'10 225 pounds this time last year

>One day look at my fatfolds and realise this fucking sucks

>Go to gym, eat healthier and less

>Now im 5'11 160 and still going

Gee I hope the setpoint goblins wont grab me and suddenly I wake up at 225 pounds again.

Is it actually possible for some people with some special condition to not be able to lose weight?

>1 year

Don't worry you will gain it all back. 95% of all diets result in the same weight after 5 years.

I have a friend like that. I used to be sort of fat before I turned my life around, to this day my friend disagress with me when I say that all I did was counting calories and daily exercises, "there must be some trick you don't realise", unsurprisingly he is a fat fuck.

No that would violate the laws of thermodynamics. Certain conditions make it harder yes, but nothing is impossible.

I hope you do gain it all back and look juicy as fuck at 5'11" 225 10%bf
You can make it brah we all can.

unless that condition happens to be generating energy from nothing since they're eating fewer calories than their body needs and still aren't using fat for energy, no.

there are conditions which lower your body's calorie expenditure (so you'll have to eat less than you would without the condition), and conditions which make fat more likely to stick around on certain parts of your body, but even then it's still totally possible just harder.

But do those people who have to eat less suffer eternal hunger or lack of energy?

Another reason is because they're waiting for motivation, "I'm lazy now but come new year im gunnu give it my all!" You won't snap out of it or feel motivated until your body is fit enough to feel energetic and motivated

Thank you user, im gonna go extra hard today just for you. We're all gonna make it my man.

These pretty much.
Its similar how I used to be a cringeworthy, born in the wrong generation, smarter than thou teenage faggot.
You subconsciously make excuses for yourself and convince yourself that you aren't bad. Any time you try to change and it gets tough you tell yourself it doesn't really matter anyway.
People are always looking for an easy way to change, but the truth is it does not happen. It is not supposed to be easy.
Back as a teenager if I heard this I would think, "it doesn't matter anyway" or "if its so hard why bother trying" or "I'm not that bad" etc. One day you must accept that there IS something wrong with you and the going WILL be tough if you want to change anything about yourself.

no, but people mistake losing weight with losing fat, losing weight is easy, just eat less, no need to even move tho it will help, losing fat while maintaining lean body mass into low teens of bf% or even below, without any drugs is another animal entirely

not necessarily. if they're eating too far below their tdee maybe but that's the case for everyone. eating at maintenance, no one should feel hungry or lacking in energy. if so that's its own problem. luckily once they lose the weight they can stop eating at a deficit and start eating at maintenance again, which is now much lower since they have less weight to have to support.

Yeah it's true, and the thing is it takes a while to change your habits and/or your relationship with food. I've lost 14 kg so far and have another 10 to go before I'm at my ideal weight of 70 kg. I used to binge on junk food all the time and now honestly a lot of the food I used to love tastes awful (e.g. Domino's pizza, how the fuck did I eat that shit?). Still difficult to hit my deficit some days, but it gets easier as you build the right habits.

because it's easy

Yes.
But it's better then being dead and a morbidly obese lump.

Many fat people are so catered too and are so comfortable and well adapted to their obesity that there is no impetus to lose weight.
To "suffer" the pain of hunger and deprivation.

All it would take is to EAT NOTHING except for a multivitamin and drink a gallon or two of water a day and that guy can drop twenty pounds of real fat in under two weeks.
Forty-five pounds in a month.

Want to know how big 45 pounds is?
Look at a 5 gallon bucket or 5 gallon water cooler.

That is what that fat ass can lose in 1 month by just eating less and walking a bit more.

>Making changes without immediate results is hard for fatties

Exactly this.
As a current lard-bucket (who's only been working out for a couple of months) I've recently realised that I've gone through almost my entire 27 years on Earth with extremely poor impulse control and very little experience of delayed gratification.

It's always been
>WANT SOMETHING
>DEVOUR IT
>NOT SATISFIED
>WANT MORE

This applies to pretty much all aspects of my life, not just my formerly atrocious diet. The hunger was mindless, yet all-consuming.

It was only once I sorted out my mental state, that I was able to finally make changes that will begin to affect my physical state.

Sure they do it's just difficult. A cell that never dies is called cancer mang.

Wrong on many levels.

First off, he's right, adipocytes don't go away, they shrink. Second, cancer cells die, they just multiply faster than they die.

>setpoint

I really love how stupid fat women took a real concept and just skipped over all the nuance and twisted it to fit their narrative.

Oh, well I was wrong and I learned something. Thanks user.

I saw a video where he was showing his swollen legs/feet. This is a symptom of heart failure but he was denying there could be anything wrong

The problem isn't that they lack energy, the problem is the hunger and them not knowing how to mentally handle the physical change.

The fat fuck in the OP is defined by his weight.
He is succeeding in life because of his weight

He will NEVER ever even ATTEMPT to lose weight. No more then a few token attempts to garner more sympathy and WOE AS ME bucks and views.

Fat people are cancer, hence why adipocytes don't go away.

They do reproduce, though. If you go full whale, you'll never be a human being again.
You'll be a fucking sleeper agent, just waiting to burst out of your disguise.

Any time. If you're ever unsure, just ask.

i are healthy

Yes, holy shit.

My friends have a fat co-worker whose stomach hangs to his fucking knees. This guy fully believes it's a natural body type.

New species discovered:

Homostomachoustokneesus

Fatty here.

If you ask me, it was due to being raised wrong.

I could do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. And, my parent(s) weren't able to control me.

If I wanted to eat, I got up and I made it myself and it was delicious. If I wanted to play sick and skip school for video games, that's what happened, and I loved it.

Next thing you know, I've dropped out of school early, knocking on 300 pounds, and have an internet girlfriend that's 25 years older than me that likes to watch me jerk off my underage dick on webcam.

I ended up turning it around, high hopes and dreams, got a job, quit playing WoW and had a RL girlfriend. But, after losing 80+ pounds, I ended up gaining 50 of them back while I had my GF for over 3 years.

So, I'm back in the weight loss department again, and it's going well. Higher hopes for it this time around.

Find one of these people, submit them to your nearest university's physics department for study, and acquire your noble prize. Because we have found ZERO macro-scale systems or process that violate the law of energy conservation, and the only quantum mechanical ones that violate this occur over incredibly tiny timescales before undoing themselves, so this kind of behavior would be an unprecedented discovery.

The body isn't a fucking pulley or a lever.
Hell you don't even know about loss of energy in systems and you're trying to look knowledgable about physics.

The body will become more efficient at using energy. Fat people and people who are cutting report being cold, that means that the body is burning less energy.
People's NEAT also tends to crater when they cut. Leading to far far less energy being used.
And NEAT burns more calories then any exercise an obese person can ever do at any one time.

I'm not even going to bring up how their TDEE drops but they don't know to eat LESS food so they will continue to burn calories. That's a given.

First try to quit easier addiction like porn fapping or aNY other. Than try to apply those method that you learn on your eating addiction it will be much more better for your brain to solve the problem

Thr deleting a FPH threads triggers me recently. Here's why.

I used to be a 300lb fat fuck that couldn't see my own dick without at least two mirrors. It took BOTH the ridicule and support of Veeky Forums to motivate me down to 185lbs.

I NEED both positive and negative reinforcement lest I regress to a version of pic related.

Fat people stay fat because veing uncomfortable as a fatty alone isn't enough to change.. There needs to be a positive gain on the other side.
Taking away the positve gain of respect and adulation being fit gets a person and demanding that fatties be treated as if they weren't morbidly obese takes away from that psychological gain. Saying they are "healthy at any size" takes away another positive result via delusion.

Used to be pretty fat. Ate to deal with my problems. Stopped eating to deal with my problems and put all of that energy into focusing on a diet and more reps. Lost 80 pounds and still pushing for that last 20. It just takes dedication and willpower. You gotta want it.

Of course bodies will have different efficiencies, but that does not change the fact that if you add up all the calories you consume, and all the calories you use, either through excretion, heat, or activity, Calories in=Calories out is an immutable fact. If you find that eating a certain number of calories in a week and doing a certain amount of activity causes your weight to remain the same, consuming fewer calories or undergoing more activity WILL lower your weight. Period.

Yes, stupid.
The problem is that you don't understand the intricacies of the body and how that can affect HOW the weight is lost and what kind of issues will arise.

It is as simple as calories in calories out, but the problem lies in the details and how people get stuck on those.

I'm not even going to get into how people don't realize that too low bodyfat is bad or what a healthy bodyfat level is or what they will level of fat they will FEEL best at.

Any fucktard can lose weight by simply skipping meals. Figuring out how to keep that weight off and still feel satisfied and content and be relatively active and healthy at that weight?
Damned hard.

>these were not sustainable
that's the problem with a lot of fad diets and why most diets fail. Too many fat people try to instantly change to a 3000 calorie/day deficit and it only lasts a couple weeks. I think Boogie has tried things like that before and obviously he relapsed. To lose weight and keep it off you have to make gradual changes that you can stick with long-term

>Calories in, no calories out

This is why my deductible more than doubled this year. Can't wait for the ACA gtfo

Build good habits.

Generally speaking if you repeat an action 20 to 30 it will help to build a good habit.

Step 1:
Go the gym and lift 3 times a week with short 20minuite HITT cardio sessions in between. Do it consistently. Do not change your diet.

Step 2:
Read Lyle McDonald guide to flexable eating

Step 3:
after a few weeks pf working out start a 20 to 30% deficit diet.

Step 4:
Take a 2 week break after 9 to 15 weeks.

think about your fork. Think how easy it is to physically put a fork down. Now do that.

I think this guy might be on the current season of My 600 lb. Life. Either it's him or a fat fuck that looks just like him. Poor bastard falls off a golf cart and starts wailing.

>I'd like to order a Wamburger and French Cries, please. Extra salt.

CHEESE DRINKING

reddit pls go

>poor bastard

Yeah... No. Let's all pray he dies.

>0:11
Holy fuck, how you you get lizard skin that bad? Christ.

This show is the best motivation though.

MR. ROBOTNIC LOOKIN

Well I can tell Boogie won't lose it because
- He's a pussy
- Much of his fame is due to his weight. His woe-is-me and "look at me I'm so fat haha" videos get tons of views.

Next will be "I went into cardiac arrest. So what?"

Guy's trying not to die. I think he takes that more seriously than getting extra views.

he isnt trying user. He is attempting to try. His definition of try is to make a video about his goal or say that hes so depressed about his weight and that hes tried everything blablabla.

He has lost weight, but he is a stellar example that all retarded fatties use about not keeping fat off and he gained it all back and more because he cant stay away from fast food and doritos.

I had a medical emergency unrelated to being fat that made me not want to be fat. I know that sounds a little haes, but it's true.
I got diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and it made me realize what being so sick means. It means a life in a hospital, being weak and needing other people to take care of you. After 2 surgeries in 3 days, I was in bad shape and my weight made the recovery so much worse.
It made me realize that I was going to have to deal with illness my whole life. Did I want complications and MORE illness because I was fat too? Hell no.

I was class 2 obese and now I'm 6 lbs from being overweight bmr. In 200 days.

I have epilepsy, I had a seizure April 2015. I woke up in the hospital and was disgusted by food. I ended up eating half of what I was eating (I was about 270). That summer I rode around 100 miles a week on my bike, and got down to 189. Through some other shit, including being on medical marijuana, I'm back up to 220 (today) but I don't think much of the fat came back. I've been going to a kickboxing class for about 5 months now so my leg muscles are MASSIVELY different. I see this as my bulking period and when the weather gets nice I'll start doing the bike rides again, and that will be my cut.

at least german doctors try to do something about this
amazon

LMAO shut up fatass

He literally can't walk anymore and refuses to see a doctor. Probably gonna gain an extra sedentary 100 lbs before an organ fails. He has also been "trying" for what, eight years?

Comfort over health.

Fucking degenerates

To stay from being fat you have to change your entire lifestyle. Most people will diet and can't wait to stop so they can eat like shit again. You can't do this. You have to keep eating healthy foods and exercising or you will become fat again. So instead of fatties working out everyday and eating at a 1500 calorie deficit, they should try eating at a small deficit and exercising 2-3 times a week. If it feels like torture, you're not going to change, your willpower will fail.

>adipocytes just shrink
No they do not. They get used up and expelled as CO2. Google if you want more snswers. On my phone so it's a pain in the ass
