Scoliosis, Kyphosis, what do?

I have mild scoliosis and more severe kyphosis. Neither ever caused me any issues. I've worked physically demanding jobs etc and never had any problems.

Have been having really bad pains in my left thing. and pains in my shoulders. Went to doctor, got shuffled around to specialists, got MRI's, ultrasounds, done.

Turns out because of the scoliosis. when I squat the femoral nerve bundle is rubbing against my pelvic bone causing permanent nerve damage. Similar issue with my shoulder, kyphosis and pullups. The doctor told me that I can no longer lift weights, ever. And if I do it will just cause further damage. He said cardio is perfectly ok if I want to get in shape.

WTF do I do!?! I am a super skinny skeleton, I don't wanna do fucking cardio, I want to build muscles! I am totally at a loss as to what to do. I don't wanna be a skinny skeleton for the rest of my life.

>left thing

Sorry. Supposed to be lift THIGH.

I am sorry for you, man. Computer took my healthy back (scoliosis and kyphosis but I didnt visit my doctor) and I am trying to fix it. Thankfully I am just a highschooler so I still have a hope.

swim. go for ottermode. you'll be more Veeky Forums than 90 percent of the gorillas on this board anyways

ssssssssssssssssstarter
ssssssssssssssssstrength

don't listen to this guy OP
my brother had scoliosis and thought swimming would help
It only made it worse
even the doctors said that he shouldn't swim
do corrective exercises
and go with a brace for last resort

Same, only I got pains in my upper back sides - specifically after sleeping.

I've read that you can't do any vertical exercises - like pull-ups, but I think it's all bullshit.

Think about it: if you don't have any muscle, WTF can possibly prevent your curvature from getting worse? It appeared because you weren't strong enough in the first place. I ignore all this shit and just do calisthenics as I would've anyway.

You wanna do twist holds in only one direction - same for flag and shit like that.

My ex had scoliosis, she fixed it by wearing a plastic cast when sleeping for like 2 years. Then she no longer aimed for surgery.

I had kyphosis but I defeated it with pullups and an unlicensed chiropractor.

What about corrective corsets? The guy that looked at my back only mentioned swimming and filling air balloons.

Got proof? Like actual x-rays instead of "it jest feels better bruh".

see a doctor
i have light scoliosis but my doc helped me and now i can lift without pain.

before someone ask: i get some kind of medical lifting belt to keep my lower back straight and deposits for my shoes. i never had backpain since then.

Your muscles control your spine. I am 6'5 with pretty serious scoliosis and gaining strength, flexibility and control in my muscles has helped immensely. Just stretch your lower traps and rear delts a ton, and do all the compounds with full RoM and perfect form(do enough weight so you get a workout, but not enough so you're struggling on the last rep)

I've had scolisis since childhood.

I think I hurt myself last November doing OHP (which I learned puts uneven pressure on the sides because of the curvature.

I Think I am pinching a nerve now or slipped a disk. Had pinching pain and dull pain in the same area since then but since Ive always had chronic back pack I havent gotten it looked at and just do normal lifting besides anything over my head now.

What are the chances Im fucked for life and severe pain when Im older for ignoring this? Too poor for doctor since Im buying a ring for my girlfriend in 3 months

...

>Too poor for doctor since Im buying a ring for my girlfriend in 3 months

Bro engagement rings are like several thousand for cheap ones

Wow, u never knew that scoliosis is the "gay" posture. Look at that guy

I hurt my back so bad I couldn't walk for 2 weeks last year in the military. I have an S curve to my spine. I'm back squatting 300 for 8 reps. No more deadlifts stilll, but i bend over row 205 for 7-8 reps for a few sets without much problems.

Lots of stretching of hamstrings, lower back, obliques(most important for me), shoulders, traps. Don't do too much volume per workout. Lowbar squat is MUCH better for me.

i would of blown my brains out years ago without lifting. aint gona let a bitch ass spine get in the way even if it cripples me.

>that left arm
is he a touhou?

How tall are you?
I know manlets on this board are so desperate they will do anything to add fractions of inches to their height. Fixing scoliosis and kryphosis will do that! Use that manlet desperation as fuel and you will succeed.
If you do leave the below 6''2 manlet zone you will truly have learned.
Until then: WWTL

Thanks mili/friend/

We're all gonna make it

>is he a touhou?
Time to leave.

stretch and do corrective exercises to fix your posture and then go back to lifting assuming your posture isnt as bad as in your picture

scolliosis faggot her

if i dont warm up before a push or pull workout, it will only get worse, after the workout i usually feel "twistet" . my left pectorial is bit bigger than the left, my right shoulder is bigger than the left, my right triceps is bigger than the left.

>solutions

a simple 5 minute warmup routine does the trick

>stretch both quats, and hipflexors

>foamroll back

>plank ( 1 set a 60 seconds )

>site planks while holding a dumble

>foam roll botch legs and calfs, as they are also effected by the twisted back

> perform "glut bridges" big bubble ball

after this i can perform like a normal human being, i hope this info is a little bit ressource full to you.
