Tfw entry level job in banking

>tfw entry level job in banking
>tfw work 12 hours a day

how the fuck do i find time to go to the gym? gyms in the city are £100 a month.

5% of my salary would be spent on a fucking gym membership that i won't even find time to go to.

i pay £25 per month atm for a gym but it's about 30 mins from my home, let alone work.

what the fuck do i do?

Do you really need to work 12 hours a day? Unless you REALLY love your job I don't see how that's worth it.

looking forward to her upcoming BLACKED scene

I do 12 hour shifts. wake up early and excercise before work. Invest in a home gym

You can't OP. for this month I work 6 days on, 8 days off alternating. I work in a busy ER so I move a shitload on my work days, but there's no way to have enough sleep/energy to go to the gym and train effectively.

If it's literally every day for you, you have to say goodbye to gym

There are no grimey grindhouse boxing type gyms in the city proper for a cheaper rate?Hard work is always worth it you cuck.

>little less than $30,000 a year
You Britbongs fucked up

yes, 12 hours is the minimum. even if i'm not working for the full 12 hours i still have to make it look as though i'm doing something. i want to progress up the ranks

investment banking is really strenuous work which is why it's rewarded so well.

i'm on 28.5k a year
gotta pay my student loan too and 2k of my salary goes ot my qualification

BUMP

>cuck
>gets cucked by his boss into working 12hrs to earn 2k a month

lmao wagecuck

I worked 13 hour days for about 8 months and worked out. 3pm to 4am. Home by 430 am. 5-12 I slept. 1215-115 workout. I use a crockpot so my food is already done. Shower eat and get my food for work then leave. I worked 4 days a week. Never felt rushed

>hehe what a dumb banker! xD

kill yourself you poorfag

Purchase a power rack, an adjustable bench, a oly bar and some plates.

Lift at home and do a strength barbell routine with bodyweight accessories.

>makes £8,333 per hour
>calls others poorfags

how does it feel that a fast food worker makes the same, if not more money?

>yeah you're right, bankers make as much as fast food workers all their life lmao! good thing those people at mcdonalds get huge bonuses at christmas and summer lol. makes it all worth it! xD

why are you still in this thread? go back to /pol/ or wherever you came from

>OP says he's doing an entry level job
>comparing that to a fast food job that has a stationary wage forever

yeah bru you gonna make bank soon might want to stay at work for 16 hrs.

>rewarded so well

>28.5k a year

B8 pls go

are you guys dumb? i've just started the job i'm 22 years old

do you guys think that bankers don't earn much or something lol? why are you projecting

You find a way.

Buy a 35 lbs kettle bell and swing that shit around your studio apartment.

>how the fuck do i find time to go to the gym? gyms in the city are £100 a month.

you don't. enjoy the final redpill.

I'm doing an entry level job as a software engineer and I get paid more than that and I don't have to work any overtime, he's getting ripped off. Plus the idea that 12hr days = hard work is laughable, you're just be used by your manager, more hours in does not mean more work done. If you're starting up your own business and need to put in those hours to get it started up I can understand, but 12hour work days for investment banking? that sounds like a fucking joke with your manager just taking advantage of every kid who goes to them and overworks the shit out of them.

his manager isn't using him, really. it's just what the job requires.

it's worth it in the end (most only hold the position for 2 years) because once you're out of IB, everyone else who sees that experience knows that you've cut your teeth. eventually you'll end up working less for much more.

>working in banking as an entry level drone

top jej

you do what all the others do and stick to cardio running around london, try not to get stabbed by ahmed or tyrone
or hop on gear and watch as you get purposefully sidelined by your weedy kike managers who are intimidated by you so take it out on you using their authority

Doing CS, second year.

Could you give any advice for when I graduate?

Depends on what you want to do, if you want to be a software engineer id say sign up for your co-op program if your school has one, and only if it's paid or else fuck that, but in general I think co-op is probably the biggest just because it can give you an "in" to some really good companies that normally wouldn't hire entry level people or people with the type of knowledge you have at that time.
But other than that probably just try playing around with different tools and things used in development environments. I think schools probably teach you well on the theory of things but sometimes applying stuff in the real world might be different, when I first started working I knew a ton of math/CS theory but had to learn a bunch of the actual tools aspect.

>Gyms in the city are £100 a month

I work in Manchester and there's a Puregym there which is ~£25, most cities have Puregyms

Assuming you're UK btw

Not entirely sure what I want to do once I graduate, so this does help.

Last thing I want is a codemonkey though desu.

That's the nice thing about co-op jobs too, they're only 4-8 months long so even if you end up hating it, it's only a term long and you never have to do it again, but if you do like it, they usually rehire you pretty easily once you graduate.

youre getting taken advantage of and are too retarded to realize it

when i graduated i started out at 79k as a quant at jpmc

I was working 12 hours a day 4-5 days a week and would go to the gym at 5AM to get my workout in before work. Some days I'd go again after too. If you want it badly enough, you'll do anything to get it, whatever it is.

I did develop a serious caffeine reliance though

For now I work 4 hours a day at an office and do most of my other job at home. You need to think outside the box. There is many jobs you can do at home or has decent hours.

Even unpaid experience is better than no experience.

You're probably going to have to start at pretty codemonkey task at first if you want to be a developer. However if you're at all capable you'll quickly get proper things to do if your managers know what they're doing.

Is there not a PureGym near you? Bristol UK here, and it's only £18 a month and they're everywhere.

I make more than you doing 4 hrs less a day and I work in a warehouse

she's stalling, I bet her dad/boyfriend are threatening to disown her if she did. Funny how they'd rather her be a pornstar than a mudshark.

>IB
>Not at a BB

What is wrong with you, do a career that actually doesn't kill you, especially for such shitty pay @ your small IB.

Home gym. Buy equipment used off craigslist if you can.

Power rack, bench, barbell, weights, and those small barbells you can use for curls and rows etc instead of dumbells

Got my setup for about 350 for everything

she aint got no daddy
thats why her mom was the one who accompanied her to her first porn short and watched her sucked dick

He'll be making at least quarter of a million pounds a year by the age of 30 if hes any good. If he's really good, it could be as high as a million. Meanwhile you'll stay where you are for the rest of your life.

>quant at jpmc
fuck me i should have majored in math and not engineering.

Fuck. She was one of my favourites.

>12 hours a day
>investment banking
>crying about £100 gym membership
>making £2000 a month as entry level IBD'er

sorry that just doesn't add up

even in UK with their shitty wages you'll make at least 50-60000£ as entry level investment banker and you would be working 16-18h days

>even if i'm not working for the full 12 hours i still have to make it look as though i'm doing something
so... exercise in that time?
I don't work as much as you do but I can guarantee I move around more than you do, and I find time to exercise on top of the physical stuff I do at work
I exercise in the morning at home

what are/were your hours like as a quant? was it fun?

always interested but went with strat consulting in the end

28.5k a year with 12 hr days makes me assume you only work 4 days a week... equating to less than 11.50 and hour, also leaving 3 days a week to lift, I don't see the problem I work an 8 on 6 off split 11hr day with an hour drive each way still find time to go to the gym 1.5-2hr on work days

What the fuck bizarro england dimension are you living in?

60 hours a week for just 2k quid a month? as an investment fucking banker? you working under the table or something?

nigga I make 1700 a month working 37 hours a week nights on tesco fucking around doing shelves in slow motion.

And gyms in the city costs like 15, puregym for example.

Holy shit your banks pay shiiiiiit. Generally even entry level positions here pay considerably more than that.

Good luck user. Hope it works out.

As for your gains, figure out your boss' schedule and try to sneak in an hour session when you know he'll be away. Gotta find a gym really close by though.

79k as a quant? that better be pounds bc thats a little low.

If it is pounds, it's getting lower every day.

>Hard work is always worth it you cuck
work smahtah not hahdah yah chahdahead

Fuck I get knowing porn actresses' names, but knowing the names of actors... it like "oh, fuck yesss, I want to watch THIS guy fucking, because I'm fapping to THIS guy". I mean, could you actually describe yourself as heterosexual? Isn't this the most cuck thing one can do before actually being a cuckold? Is this caused by porn addiction?

What fucking bank do you work at that doesn't net you $85,000 base / yr
