Is there any reason to work abs a few times a week if your still fat?

The key to getting abs is having verry little body fat bro so work on losing weight first.

How much do you weigh? Height?

Yeah, stick with abs even when you're fat. That way when you finally lose the belly fat your abs will look extra joocy.

So you don't have to work abs when you're skinny? It's just saving time, imo

Abs are actually used in a lot of the basic compound exercises, so a strong core helps all around.

Chucking in 3 sets of ab wheel or something at the end of a workout won't hurt

Don't be one of those dudes who does like 6 different ab exercises every day

Im cutting so I lift twice a week, figured I might have a couple days where I just do abs. Otherwise it's just dieting and walking for me.

Can you get those high bf abs on thicc plers if you work abs while fat?

not OP, but what's a good ab routine to do 2-3x a week at the end of workouts?? would leg raises and planks suffice?

Is this considered CP?

Op here would like to know
Was gonna do ab crunches and leg raises alternating till failure
No drumpfkin, you know why cos it's not like your personal loli folder

Only if you want to have decent abs when you're not fat.

lower back and core exercises are very important, especially if you do squats and deadlifts or any type of oly lifts

No, core strength is terrible.

kek

>stronger core
>somehow bad

Typical fat unable to think of all the good a bit of extra work will do for your body

the DOMS feels good

Hanging leg raises and weighted decline crunches

...

Oh boy! You're messing with the president's son now.

How long until you go missing?

>still in denial killary didn't get elected

kitchens are made in the ab

>dieting and walking
>not doing OMAD right after HIIT in a fasted state
Do you even want to lose weight?

this, I neglected my abs until I realized I had to work them and my hammies to correct my APT. I did ab rollouts and planks and I couldn't sneeze, shit or get up from supine for a week and a half. Also, I was so sore I couldn't OHP, bench or squat normally, I'm guessing it's from having a bad exhausted core
TL;DR Work abs, they're not memes

Yes.

Better posture, better stability during lifts, better ability for more advanced lifts (good mornings) etc. etc. all benefits.

I mean just look at heavyweight athletes, they sure as fuck train their abs.
