Are you afraid of losing your gains due to factors beyond your control, such as depression or sickness

...

ive already lost it like 3 times. it's depressing and now im obsessed and if i have to miss a single workoutfor anything i get paranoid and freak out that it's going to happen again

I used to be.
I was all about getting huge as fuck for 4 years.
Then I got into running and hiking because of girl.
Lost 65 pounds of fat and muscle but mostly muscle.
Dumped girl.
Started lifting super serious again.
Gained it all back in 6 months.

>what happens when you go from bro-split to SS

>are you afraid of something out of your control
nah, i just ignore those possibilities and try to have fun

>Got depressed when I got out of the army, lost a ton of weight
>Gain it back
>Get cancer, lose a ton of weight
>Gain it back
I've done it before, I'll do it again

...

You didn't eve have to photoshop the beard and sad look on his face.

still cool.

>factors beyond your control
>depression

Good one op

depression doesnt make you lose your gains. Not lifting does, and lifting makes you more ressistent to sickness and and depression.

ive lost a lot of gains due to injuries but I always manage to get back on... it's more about the mind than the body.

Don't be scared to lose gains OP and my brothers, sometimes you lose some and sometimes you win some. Losing your gains is a way for you to gain perspective and understanding as well.

People have told me:
"invest in losses, the L's make you work harder"
"have patience and allow yourself to be bad, you have to be bad at something before you become good at something"

>> diagnosed GAD and depression
>> gonna regret reading this thread
>> actually not bad

Had a major hospitalization for a week that took me out from the gym for a while. I lost 2 years of gains. Then I got depressed a bit after (partially because of that) and became skinny fat and even fat fat after.

Took me half a year of working out to get back to where I was. I still have the fat though. Maybe I should've just cut first.

step it up nigga
>wahhh I have depression it's not my fault I can't get off my arse

2% milk.

Not gonna make it.

Making excuses is never acceptable, but depression is a mental illness and like any other mental illness is not something you can control, that's a fact. It's also a fact that it can make your life hell at times and not everyone is strong enough to fight.
