FATTY SITUPS

5'7", 260 lbs fatty here. Aside from fork putdowns and cardio, I try to do some weight exercises a few times a week. Should I also be doing situps daily? I do them every few days, but will doing them daily benefit me or am I better off letting my abs rest/heal? Apparently I can work them out every day?
