They are,but they cost a fuckton in a civilized world and you gotta eat a lot of them too.

Nice. Affordable cricket protein powder shakes when? That's a train I can jump on.

Good, good. That's one way to save the planet without being an edgy vegetarian.

Whats the amminoacid profile of bug broteins compared to animal broteins?

No, it's still too expensive. If edible insects become mainstream ( = cheaper) I'll include them in my daily diet.

Well, they ARE the future of protein.

... is to eat bugs

>Comparing grasshoppers to mince
Fuck off man. Butchers always add fat to mince to prevent it from going dry

So it is then

They are objectively better.

B-B-BUT THINK OF THE POOR CRICKETS!!!

They don't have pain receptors. And are pretty much not sentient.

i heard that insect protein is extremely well absorbing into body

like 5 times the beef

so you get 5grams of effective protein of 1 grams of effective protein in same beef amount

dont have source on that but im sure you will find it online

I really want to try some but I don't even know any place that sells them.

Ya when I was looking into alternative protein sources/ snack food, I found bugs and looked for the cheapest ones I could.
Cheapest I could find were more expensive than beef jerky for protein.

this might be a better solution for countries limited on protein

the downside is that they taste exactly how you would expect bugs to taste

$36 for a 12 pack of protein bars is a bit steep

Also:
>260-300 calories
>10g protein
