Get in the gym and work body part each day, four or five different lifts, 6-8 reps per set. Work out 5-6 days per week. Check back in in a few months.

I've just basically been going in, did some PT sessions, and just hacking together a squat/bench/kettlebell routine for the most part, started SS a month/6 weeks agi

Check out Athlean X on youtube. Buy or torrent Bigger, Leaner, Stronger. As far as routine try this: Shoulder day for example, look up four or five shoulder lifts that look interesting. Find a weight where you fail between 6-10 reps and do 3-5 sets of each exercise. Always research proper form for lifts.
