I got a legitimate quetion about these threads:

Why would anyone seriously do push ups (in the time you should obviously rest) while following a strict gym-routine?

I mean I either am kind of sore (or just worked out chest) or I am about to hit chest tomorrow.

Isnt it detrimental to do a lot of pushup while you body should rest?

well if you get a small amount like i did (13 [in the post below yours]) then it doesnt really matter.

well even still it wouldnt be detrimental at all.
its not like 100 push ups is overtraining.
maybe if you did it all at once and didnt rest at all, while not being able to do pushups.
if I got 99 I'd spread it out by 10s and take min at least breaks.
