2pl8 bench club

Only people who bench 135 pounds or more are allowed to post in this ITT.

1pl8 is 135 lbs if you count the bar
This is now 1pl8 thread
Anybody else love the feeling of shoving lmao1pl8 horizontally up their ass?

Bait
Guaranteed replies

1pl8 = 45*2 = 90 pounds
2pl8 would be 180 pounds

Where the fuck did you get 135

Dumb frogposter grr

DYEL?

>anything except just the bar is 2pl8

Christ I swear Veeky Forums it shit these days

for reals though, how much of an accomplishment is 1pl8 bench?
Or is anything less than 225 not even looked at?

every post in this thread is bait

He means that his bench has 2 plates all together

including this one?

Umm did you account for the hole in the plate?

1 plate is more like 80lbs after you subtract 5lbs*2

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

>being this dyel

45lb plates are the only real plates. If you don't bench 135 you bench less than two plates

especially this one

>He forgot to account for gravity reduction due to altitude
Fucking dyels

including this one?

>125 5x3

Its taken my like 4 months but I'm so damn close to 135.

1 plate = 45 -5 because of the hole
9p plates = -45 pounds, which means you only lifted 8 plates
Fuck

How much do I add for the lettering on the plates? (It's in Papyrus font.)

>retards in here not accounting for the decrease in atmospheric pressure as you lift the bar higher

140 lb reporting in

Ok all jokes aside can someone explain the actual weight of 1pl8, 2pl8 etc. Ive never seen it explained before

1 plate is equal to 45lbs of iron (so make sure it's not 45lbs of lead or steel or it'll throw you off) BEFORE the hole is drilled in the plate.

This causes a lot of confusion because people don't realise that it adds up to 45lb of iron when you put the bar through it, which is why you don't count the weight of the bar.

2 plates is equal to 1 plate on each side of the bar so if you have a barbell through them 2 plates is equal to 90lb.

kek

How are you even proud?

Google is ur friend

>Forgetting to account for center of gravity and moment of gyration
Fucking Normies

Are you a fucking retard? Thats 60 kilos, you should be able to press that after like two months

I can bench 135. Yay I'm strong

1pl8 is beginner status I can't take you seriously if you can't bench more than 135

So what are you baiting?

>can press 200+lbs
>don't even lift.

I can bench 135 for 8 reps. All the flat benches are usually taken, tho, so I just do them in the sitting one-does it still count?
