If you compete in any sporting event with another banned athlete or coach, you will also be banned. WADA rule, not IPF/USAPL rule but they have to follow it.

A beginner can do any routine as long as the weight they start with is low enough to handle the volume. It just behooves them to start on a routine they can add weight quickly too and focuses on a limited number of lifts so they learn the fundamentals.
