Those two are equidistant. Also they're virtually all identical in DHA which is the active/important thing you're taking fish oil for.

My Protein Omega Balance

2 of those capsules is exactly as much as the sticky recommends

They're pretty much all the same as long as you're looking at 1000mg caps. Just take 3 a day and you'll be fine, get the cheapest one

sticky recommends
>720mg EPA
>480mg DHA

>800mg EPA
>400mg DHA
>per capsule

Cmon.... Fish oils are a meme.

Can anybody here honestly say they've seen any noticeable health improvement by taking this shit?

Just get some healthy fats in like cashews.

Fish oil is a meme
Omega 3,6,9 aren't
focus on foods) not supplements that provide them, ie put it in cronmeter

Basically one of the only supplements on the market that aren't a meme, user.

As far as making a difference to your lifts/gains, fish oil will only offer a very small benefit, but as for your overall health and longevity, fish oil is one of the most studied and scientifically valid supplements out there m8. Can link some studies if curious

Worrying about specific amounts of EPA/DHA is silly though and shouldn't have much of an effect at all. As long as your supplement has a reasonable amount of both, it's fine.

Alternately, just eat fatty fish once a week along with other other foods rich in omega 3.

Omega 9 is a meme. Omega 6 most people get far too much of in their diets. Omega 3 is the main thing you should focus on. Eat healthy foods including omega 3 rich foods, or if you're lazy or too poor for fish, fish oil is a good supplement

>Alternately, just eat fatty fish once a week
that's why I take fish oil, not a big fan of eating fish

I take 10 caps a day because each one has 300mg of dha/epa and I read you're supposed to get 3g a day. I'm not sure why worrying about that is silly though, it's not like all fats are the same

Who to believe

I wait for the buy one, get one free sales at CVS and then buy the 400 count 1g capsule bottles (800g for $19.99 USD). Not a bad way to save money.

Read the sticky you retarded faggot. Fish oil and vitamin D are the only non-meme supplements everyone should take.

Kirkland signature (Costco)

400 softgels, 12$.

Life protip: Buy everything you can from Costco, it's basically guaranteed excellent quality and low price.

Fish is delicious m8 but to each their own.

You don't need 3/g of long chain omega 3s a day, that's way too excessive man. To stay healthy the average man needs around 0.16g a day, but you can get aditional benefits from having up to almost 1g/day.
If your supplement has 300mg of EPA/DHA, I'd take probably 2/day to be on the safe side, but even 1/day should be sufficient. Having 10/day isn't likely to hurt you but it's just kind of wasting money on fish oil.

Fats are different and complicated, yes, but EPA is converted to DPA, which converts to DHA. Each have their own unique roles in the body and your body can choose what to convert to what as necessary. As long as you're hitting your total daily amount of total long chain omega 3s (0.16g a day), worrying about which type of acid you're getting isn't necessary at all

well now I'm confused. Even the bottle says to take 3 per day

Could've sworn I read 3g per day though. In like, a scienctific study I mean, not just some brodude's site or something. But now that I'm searching it again, the recommendations are all over the place. reee

3000 mg Fishoil
- EPA 990 mg
- DHA 660 mg

I take 3 of these every day

kek Everyone is an expert

Me because I am literally studying this right now for my exam tomorrow and have learned this all before.

Fish oil is good if you don't eat much fish, seeds/nuts, etc.

Omega 9 isn't a thing to worry about at all, neither is omega 6 really assuming you eat the same way everyone else eats

i eat sardines 3 times a week

3/day isn't gonna hurt, but it's probably overkill. A lot of supplements will tell you to take more than necessary because they make more money that way lol. As long as it doesn't harm you, there's not really much regulation as far as what they tell you to do on the bottle.

A lot of places recommend 3000mg/3g of fish oil per day, but that's basically just because a lot of fish oil supplements don't contain as much omega 3 as others, so to be safe and as a general recommendation, 3/day isn't too bad a suggestion.

Can't think of any study that would've said 3g/day of LC n-3s though, you might be getting confused m8y.

>The American Heart Association recommends that healthy Americans consume two servings of fatty fish per week, providing about 1,750-3,500 mg of DHA and EPA per week. This amount equals 250-500 mg of DHA and EPA per day.

>Patients taking more than 3 grams of omega-3 fatty acids from capsules should do so only under a physician’s care. High intakes could cause excessive bleeding in some people.

wtf guys, I have always been taking 1 omega3 daily..I just read the bottle and it says take 3..FFUUUUU. I just assummed it was like all vitamins that usually just have you taking 1 daily

This greentext checks out. 250-500 per day is pretty conservative by most consensus' these days tho. You can get away with anything about around 150mg really. But yeah, just aim for like 500mg/day and you'll be well fine

Too much can mess with the body's inflammatory pathways which basically means you don't heal as effectively, hence excessive bleeding

>that's why I take fish oil, not a big fan of eating fish
>I take 10 caps a day
you must be the dumbest person on this board, and that's saying a lot

> 2017
> not using labdoor

labdoor.com/rankings/fish-oil

>you are dumb because you read that you should take 3g of omega 3 a day and you did it

haha wow I'm so retarded I'm the most retarded person who ever existed xD

>10 caps
>3g
Serious question, what brand was that? Those are tiny, most are 1g per cap.

Also the actual weight of the pill doesn't matter, you should look at the DHA/EPA content and follow the 250-500mg/day guideline.

I take 2 caps 3 times a day, I get walmart brand because it's cheap.

I started taking it on the recommendation of my eye doctor. My eyes were dry and always irritated ever since I started dieting. Fish oil has made them feel great so in my case it works. Dunno about the rest of the benefits.

Nvm re-read your previous posts. The guideline is 3g TOTAL WEIGHT or 250-500mg DHA/EPA. Instead you were taking 3g of DHA/EPA. That's quite bad for you, you should really stop.

this.
canned sardines are cheap af, high in o3 and protein, low in mercury and other toxins.

Do they taste any good tho? Never tried em

>Adults, take two softgels once daily.
>3 times a day

Are you illiterate?

they are a bit dry on their own, like tuna. taste great in a salad.

>Suggested Use

Are you?

They're also a great source of Vitamin D, B vitamins, calcium, and other minerals. They're essentially the perfect food. And if you eat them with a bit of olive or canola oil you're getting all of the essential monounsaturated fats, omega-3, 6 and 9.

You can get them canned in hot sauce or mustard if you don't like the taste, which usually adds hardly any calories or carbs. But I like them plain in water with a bit of cracked pepper too.

>monounsaturated fats
I mean poly-
