Suggestions for glute-focussed exercises that aren't barbell hip thrust or cable pull-through? Both of those work my glutes without a doubt but both are limited by practical technicalities, I never feel my glutes as being the limiting factor.
At first I thought I'll just stick with them but after a month and a half they still feel awkward and ineffective. Since I'm not aiming to be a world champ, I don't mind doing sub-optimal exercises that I like doing a lot more.
