What about "noob gains" though? I though that was the main reason I got so much heavier? I still haven't done a proper training routine yet but I do go to the gym consistently though for two hours (I know a bit too long but I goof of for a good half hour at least with a bro) currently half assing a push pull workout about 4-5 times a week atm

Well I didn't mean literally 0 of course but I would honestly say more like 6 pounds honestly , been bulking for a week now though since I wanna get into a serious PPL routine with a different gym that doesn't use smith machines.

to give yuou some perspective, throwing on 20-25 pounds of muscle in your first year is considered great

I really don't think so man, granted I would say I put on a little fat that's unheard of not to, but I don't think it's around 10 and even if it was that would still be 40 pounds in like 6 months
