Why am I progressing on OHP so well, while deadlifts and bench are slacking behind ?

Deadlifts isn't exactly bad, but my bench is really my biggest shortcoming.

Benched 220kg in slingshot but I can't even bench 170 raw without shoulder flaring up and fucking up my bench sessions for the rest of the week.

Felt pretty fun to bench lmao5plate in a commercial gym though, I had like 10 bros ask me for bench tips I felt popular.

On RTS a lot of us bench 4 times a week and OHP or incline 1-2 (they're not all injured like me either).

if only there was a way you could still compete in powerlifting, like a special shirt you could wear in comp...

i wanna do amateur powerlifting as a way of training for rugby (especially considering the numbers for local powerlifting meets in my shitty state look definitely achievable), but my position needs a lot of athleticism and explosive power. is there any kind of hybrid routine that works some oly lifting and crossfit type nonsense aimed at muscular endurance in? i just don't have the work capacity to train and do a pl routine

I'd say C6W is decent for deadlifts at best.
It doesn't have that much volume and there are weeks were you only do variations like SLDL.

Really good for squats because that's where most of the volume goes to.

You can switch the bench with Gnuckols 28,works way better imho.
