Their parents especially the mom are total enablers. I think half the reason the older one won't leave is because mom "gave" her anxieties and she can't function like an adult. The concept of welfare is supposed to be about helping people who, as one of the above posters said, handicapped, elderly, or otherwise legitimately disabled. It makes sense for a civilized society to help people like this, in the same way that insurance makes sense. We all pay into the system, and although not everyone receives direct benefit or payback, we can rest assured that if anything happens to us or our loved ones that makes us incapable of employment, we will not be without assistance. It's a perfectly logical system. The problem comes in defining the terms of the arrangement, and in people abusing the system. Obviously fat motherfucking pieces of shit like shown in OP should not be getting paid to be fat fucks. Obviously. That is abuse of the system. But just because people are abusing the system doesn't mean the system ought to be abandoned - rather it should be improved.
