>>Behind The Neck Press
enjoy snap city

>behind the neck
RIP shoulders

dips are superior to cgbp if you can actually do them properly. there isn't a better tricep exercise out there

I think if you do them like this they're ok, where you touch your traps after every rep
youtube.com/watch?v=wk6At7SDB3c
but you have to have good shoulder flexibility

>i started doing a new variant of a movement and its helping me make gains again, this must mean they are underrated and the ones I was told to do are overrated.

When you've been lifting more than a couple of years you come to realise that every exercise you think is some miracle you've been longing for, is really just your body reacting to something new and adapting.

This is basically the reason why broscientists think muscle confusion is a thing.

I have mixed feelings about behind the neck presses. Something about upright rows and behind the neck presses always made me uncomfortable, though I do wide grip or klokov presses behind the neck at a low weight and it's alright.

This so much. Every few months I have a new favorite miracle work out, and really it's just me and my body enjoying something new and challenging that maybe isn't as developed.

>le btn press is bad for shoulders meme.

Why do people keep saying this?
Its not like people are advocating doing heavy singles.

BTN press is the safest full ROM exercise there is for priority targeting of middle delts.

Power cleans are definitely underrated imo. They build traps and upper back like a motherfucker.

Dumbbell flys suck ass, there's no strain at the point of maximum contraction.

Underrated

Cable crossovers are far far better.

>you

I spent my first few months leg pressing instead of squatting because I thought they'd be comparable

They aren't at all and I'm still playing catch-up with my legs

Lol so true. I remember the beginner days where i tried out every exercise on youtube and everyone was better than the last.

But what would happen if you did every possible exercise for a muscle group each time you went in?
By that logic would you reach an impassible plateau?

>Underrated:
>>Dumbbell Rows

You're alright by me OP

DB rows and dips aren't underrated.
BTN press is shit.

>>Close Grip Bench Press
>>Hyperextensions and Reverse Hypers
Not underrated.

>Pushups and Weighted Pushups
Yeah, good one.

People are still advocating going heavy.
A 5RM, or even a 8RM, can still be hard on the shoulders.

>BTN press is the safest full ROM exercise there is for priority targeting of middle delts.
No, lateral delt activation is about half of isolation exercises.
It has even higher front delt activation than normal overhead presses.
Lateral (landmine) raises, and "face" pulls from chest height done properly are better lateral delt buiilders.

Not him, but that's why so many people rotate accessory exercises.
When the rotation is complete, the exercise are "new" to the body again.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

I do, and if you can play nice, I'll help you and provide some sources.

>BTN Press overrated
by who exactly?

also, BTNP is based as fuck

maybe if your shoulders are shit to begin with

my shoulders feel fucking great after high rep BTN presses
