What are fits hobbies outside of lifting?

What are fits hobbies outside of lifting?
ITT: Talk about fit hobbies general.

I do blacksmithing, I make mostly household things cooking utensils and the like. I make skinning knifes and general use knives too. Been getting into tomahawk making for competitive throwing too. Didn't even know that was a thing until I was asked to make some.
Pic related, my newest made thrower.

I'm a gamer :P

I play dungeons and dragons. Im a big guy who pretends to be a dyel wizard.

That seems to be most people here. I used to game but I've lost interest in it lol

I used to do that too in college. Good times.

OP here, here's a knife I made for my dad. My own personal project usually sit on the back burner while I fill orders. Glad I got this one done though.

I play video games, make memes browse other boards and make fun of other people silently or out loud in my college thing with my friend, we are basically the same mind.

OP again, The first tomahawk I ever made and a few hooks I made for jackets and the like that day.

I don't have hobbies that's why I hit the gym 6 times a week and wish sunday could pass quicker since it's my rest day.
I'm a very sad person but lifting makes me happy in a way despite having no hope for my future

I travel when I can and I play miniature games. I like hanging out in coffee shops too

I'm actually really interested in blacksmithing, but I don't know where to start.

Any tips, OP?

YouTube bro. Everything I know I literally learned from YouTube.
Even how to make a homemade forge.

Comfy as fuck.

I've got 30 feet of railroad track lying in my backyard, want it?

How much money have you invested in that hobby? Like furnaces anvils and stuff? I'm jelly, I've only ever made 2 knives at school when I was 13

Hahaha idk what I would do with it besides make anvils. I have a Swedish made anvil from like the 17th century. I just refinished it too. Traded a few pieces for it.

Not as much as you would think. But at the same time a good bit. It's easier to do over time. People mostly just give me materials. The forge I use was already built and functional. It's an armory forge from the original settlers in my area that the city maintains. I kinda fell into it desu.
I have a forge at home I made from some pipes and a brake drum.

Piano, video games, watch movies seriously, watch TV seriously, masturbate

Idk why it auto corrected to desu.
It was supposed to say desu.
My weebo is leaking. :(

Chandler Dickenson

You can learn a lot from him man. He learns by doing too.

I do traditional art.
I used to do some D&D and GURPSing but I have moved away from my old group.

Op here
Tfw I've made entirely too many spike knives I never wanna see one again

Instinctive archery. Been shooting barebow for 3 years. Have a 55 lb. custom English longbow in the mail I've been waiting 6 months for.

I can't wait.

I'm a terrible shot with a bow lol

Drums, Veeky Forumss, video games, hate myself, lift.

It takes practice. All you can do is shoot arrow after arrow until you realise you suck and you hate your hobby.

As in I've watched about 2 movies a day for 5 years and I've seen just about every TV show and Anime worth a damn.

A bit of a movie/tv guru.

My ex was an Ohio women's champion archer in high school. She could pick off a rabbit with a full lead at 50y. Truely impressive.

>swedish made
where you from lad

Any idea what she shot? That's pretty impressive if she was shooting recurve.

Ohio. Idk where he got it or how. It was painted and sat in his moms front yard. I refinished it and turns out it's old and valuable af.

I don't know enough about it but if I had to put a name to it, it was a compound bow without sights.

tfw you will never date the hunger games

Anime
Manga
Videogames
Books

Pretty much nothing else. I'll die alone so these will keep me busy enough.

I make bows and arrows and wooden heater shields.

OP here
KINDA wanna buy a shield from you.
Maybe trades for a knife/axe lol
Vikings style

Dragon boat paddling

I play saxophone almost every day.

I drive

Shooting. Way into archery.

I'm getting into horses so I can go full mongol.

I'm digging a hole too. Just been at it for a while.

I'd be down for that.

Those give me a bit of a boner.

OP here, look up Old Rusty Forge in Ohio on Facebook. We may have a trade lol

> "So what do you do user?"
> "I dig"

s tudent here

I fish and read classic literature

Literally don't need anything else in life

Maybe a gf

I'm bringing you down

...

How deep/wide is the hole?

Shit NM, Judy email me at [email protected]
I thought we had a fb page but I guess not.

It's a secret hole. Nobody knows and to be honest that makes it better.

It's 3 meters across and twelve deep so far.

>[email protected]
I'll send the email. There is a facebook page wit that name for some museum in ohio.

That might be it, it's part of a small museum there.

Why are you digging a hole?

That's pretty weird user, post updates every few months.

email sent

Pics?

Draw porn.

OP I used to blacksmith as a kid and I wanted to invest in a medium sized workshop with a good 150+ plus anvil.

I was thinking of learning how to make fancy gates and stuff for money and then doing knives on the side as a hobby. Do you think this would be possible? I have enough money saved up for about a year of self teaching.

Idk any blacksmith that does it for a living, except for a few at fairs and stuff and YouTube

I think I'm sad or something. It's just interesting and time consuming.

You can probably learn everything you need to know like I did on YouTube.

I buy, fix, upgrade, and cruise classic mopeds. Pic related 1980 Honda Hobbit made in Belgium, the Subaru Impreza of mopeds.

I also collect guns and go to the range.

I also play tabletop rpgs.

Wrought iron was hot for awhile with the upper middle class about a decade ago, madmade shit to show what a patrician you are etc.

Not sure if it's still a thing.

Depends on my mood, I almost never sit still or relax and if I do I shitpost here which isn't that often.
On off days I'll take a bus to a random forest and hike and forage, I always download some albums and just listen to music while doing this, when I'm in the forest I'll just listen to my surroundings, I make awesome lunch packs to take a break while hiking/foraging.
On regular daysit depends on ehat time I'm free. When I dont have plans with friends I just go out and talk to random people. Been doing this for a year now and I know a shitload of people and meet people I know everywhere I go .If it's really lateI'll just learn some dance moves if I'm not to sore otherwise I draw or talk to people on fb/IG while listening to music. I NEED people to talk to or music to keep me distracted from my thoughts. I also need alone time to zone out and that's mostly during my hikes and when I lift.
I also am a good cook but I dont see that as a hobby even thou I cook twice a day.
Onfe every two weeks I go partying and get absolutrly get shitfaced, showing offy dance moves. idk if that counts as a hobby.

Yeah my mother lived in a small wine village in Germany and the town blacksmith had a HUGE shop where he would make wrought iron gates with metal grapes and other designs.

I have a health science degree, but I did some soul searching recently and If I could make a decent living then I wouldn't mind investing in creating a blacksmith workshop.

Please post pics of your hole

Rock climbing, Guitar, and LARP

I used to make videogames as a hobby, but decided to make it my full time job

Do you have an end goal for your hole? What are you going to put in said hole?

I've been working on a fantasy novel on and off

Is reading a hobby? If so then I just finished the black company

That's about it desu

I do the same thing in a state park. End game is to move into it so I can save money on rent.

You have the right idea being a Veeky Forumsizen and going unnaground for the upcoming race war on nogs and spicks.
