Is 3000 calories a day enough to bulk at 6'1" 180 lbs 12% bf?
Is 3000 calories a day enough to bulk at 6'1" 180 lbs 12% bf?
Nah pussy u need at least 4000+
3000 is fine
Go for 3500.
Go for 5000 you skelly bastard
nah I cut at 3k cals
Lol there is no way u r 6'1" manlet
More like 5'8" 130 lbs
Stop projecting manlet
No.
Can you give me a number instead of just saying no??
6000 cals for anyone over 6 foot m8.
thats the general rule.
No
What meal plan would you recommend for a 6000 calorie a day bulk
2GOMAD
lolno that's not even enough to maintain.
Fellow 6 footer here. Currently on a 6500 calorie per day bulk. Thinking about upping the calorie because I'm hitting a plateau
im 13% bf 73 kg 5'8", and I'm bulking with 3500 calories, so I'm pretty sure its way more than mine for you
Completely depends on the person, just eat what you think is right and if you are getting the results you want then your golden and if you dont then eat more
Its not rocket science
This thread is massive aids
you're aids
>6500 calorie per day bulk
I am working on construction sides 5 days a week while working out in the evening and even I don't have such a high TDEE.
Are you serious about this number?
I'm 6'1 / 175 / 13%ish and bulk on 4100 kcal / day and it's a pretty slow bulk. My maintenance is aroubd 3600-3700 i think
There's no way 3000 is sufficient
i swear this place is filled with retards. you guys aren't mr. olympia's
3000 calories is fucking plenty for OP. after your first years of lifting you can expect to put like 5-10lbs of muscle a year. and obviously even the 10lbs is WAYYYY too much after 3-5 years of lifting.
the sad thing is most ppl falling for the bulk meme gain 5-10lbs in a MONTH, not year. we are looking at something like 10% of muscle and 90% of weight per 1lb of weight.
the excess FAT does NOT make you a big guy fucking idiots. no one thinks you look impressive with those 25% fatceps.
if you are putting over 2lbs of weight per month you probably should look into reducing your calorie intake because you are starting to gain too much fat.
4500
Jesus, I'm trying to bulk at 3000, but I can barely take 2700 calories a day. What should I eat/drink?
only if you're not willing to do WHATEVER IT TAKES
It should be, but it will be a slow bulk. I'm 6' 180 and I maintain with 2700 calories.
I'm 6'6 205lbs and eat 3500-4000 calories per day, though I also row, so if you don't do a lot of cardio 3000 should be fine
7'2 here 315lbs I bulk on about 8000 calories a meal
how do I achieve this mode? how much should i be able to lift to achieve? mirin hard btw no homo i swear
I used the TDEE calc and added 500 cals for bulking. it comes out to 2,775 cals. thats light as fuck I've been getting like 3,700 a day. Is that too much? I'm 5'11" manlet king and weigh 130 pounds
You are going to get fat as fuck and regret it, unless you are endurance athlete
I'm 5"10, eat 3,150 a day and still wake up feeling emaciated. I might have absorption issues.
tfw when you're a 5'6 manlet that reps with 215 and bulk on 2700 cals :) actually my bulk is between 2200-3000.
being a manlet aint so bad.
Too much sugar
not even close
thanks user, that makes sense, I've been eating too many of those builder bars recently now that i think of it.
I'm 5'11 170 and I cut at 3000. You're going full skelly mode if you stay at that.
Thats my bulk and I'm 5'6" 150 lbs
How are you guys bulk so low? Im 5'8 160 at 10% and am attempting to bulk on 4200 but thats not even enough for me right now.
Same here 5'8 and 70kg, im trying to eat 3k calories but i usually finish the day with 2,4~2,7
Take your TDEE and eat 110% of it.
24'15 here, approx. consume 93410 every metric hour
I've lifted 5 days a week for a year now starting from skelly. 5 day split I bench 185 x 8 squat 225 x 8 and don't deadlift
Mirin
Of course! what's your goal 1lb increase every 5 years?
> don't dead lift
Faggot
10 cans of chili
You will die of starvation at 3000 calories
normal diet but you compensate the 3500 extra calories with olive oil
60 bananas
4 squirrels
Lost my sides, haven't laughed so hard in such a long time.
This.
Kek
Depends on level of activity?
^Only real answer.
I just eat MC Donald's and I've bulked up hardcore mode.
I'm so wedge
3000 is about maintenance for 200 lbs so you're probably good OP
I'm 200lbs and I maintain with 4500 calories. Unless OP is bedridden 3000 is not enough
Find your maintenance, do not use calculators they dont work.
Im 6ft and 200lb my maintenance is only 2500kcal, and bulk on 2800kcal.
manlet
Lmao
4'10 here, I'm losing weight right now at 4000 calories a day
what do you do for your back then?
I'm exactly your size and I get 3000 cals a day on maintenence
Pull-ups/lat pull-downs and close/wide grip rows
cheers mate how much do you row and weighted pullup?
manlet 5'7 158lbs. I eat 4500-5000 is that too much for me?
Pizza curls to failure
Nice comeback
nah just eating according to my tdee. i do heavy exercise (6 times a week, 3 times gym, times muay thai practice), and im not dirty bulking
Thx man just body weight pull-ups I get 12-15 reps and I bent over row 135x8
how many sets? you got that back by rowing 135???
in my experience? no fucking way 3000 is enough. im 6'1 and i bulked for 3 months for 7lbs of muscle at 5k a day
Do you want him to shrink? Only 4000?
4 sets at 135. I started from skelly so I've had really low bf the whole time
wait whats your entire back workout? ur blowing my mind here
I focus on the muscle contraction a lot too not just as heavy as possible
>7lbs of muscle
I switch it up but a usual one would be: 4 set pull ups, 4 sets bent over rows, 4 sets last pull downs, 4 sets close grip cable rows
What's ur full routine/split?
No homo
3000 is probably your TDEE. Slap on 300-500 calories on top of that and you're golden.
