Metal would be next I guess.
I link fun, funky music. For instance;
Nails - You will never be one of us
and
Kero Kero Bonito - Bonito Generation
Death Grips - Bottomless Pit and Money Store
SOPHIE - Product
Anamanaguchi - Endless Fantasy
These have been my main lifting albums for quite a while now.
Mastodon or you're DYEL
I... erm... what the fuck did I just watch?
from Nails to Kero kero... you have some weird varied taste man.
I think so far you're the only one that hasn't posted some weeaboo shit.
Weeaboo shit is usually fast paced and upbeat though.
Hey if it works for you man, then all good. I just can't get in to it. I usually like some heavy shit. So if you have some heavy weeaboo shit, I'll give it a listen.
UglyFrank - Bobby Hill EP

I hate anime faggots so god damn much
He sure likes saying nigga.
rude
This. I only like mature music for mature people like myself.
Depends what you mean by heavy.
If you mean just metal-tier screaming and deep voices, not much. If you want a heavy beat there is plenty.

I get what you mean though. On deadlift days I prefer metal. But conditioning, squat, bench, and OHP is usually my weeb shit. I prefer upbeat/quick to screaming/roaring metal.
Luckily you can't understand shit they're saying in either form of music. Lyrics distract me most the time.
Listen to an audiobook if you're looking for insightful writing.
I can kind of get behind that third one, it's still not really my thing, but the aim was to find something new. So why not.
Jesus Christ though that first one though. What's going on there? That's what I imagine a seizure sounds like if it were a song.
Well it just kind of made me think of this.
Mixed with some preworkout that has DMAA it's pretty magical.
Usually for conditioning days where I push a 400lb sled as fast as I can till I die or have a seizure.
Wild motherfuckers - insomnia, gets me hyped as fuck
I always listen to D&B or Jazz when running, but while lifting, metal, ska,or rock are decent
Slayer - Reign in Blood

Load up the bar to about 80-90%. Squat EMOM until you pass out or reach the end. Also counts as cardio since your heart will feel like a chestburster somewhere halfway in.
Even better with so much caffeine & DMAA to make Rich Piana ask if that's really a smart idea
