RIP our swole brother Garrison. Erra will never be the same without him. ho
pe hes enjoying selling insurance or whatever
youtube.com
was listening to this during my workout today
Garrison started his own design line. He's really talented in that stuff too. garrisonleedesigns.com
He makes album art, apparel designs, and other stuff. Honestly, he's pretty happy where he's at--because that's what he always wanted to do. Erra was a stepping stone for him. But yeah, while the new vocalist isn't bad, Erra is just not the same without him. Lacks the ferocity of Garrison, as well as the technical flair with the language and its delivery as its seen in Dreamwalkers, Pulse, and Seven: youtube.com

Fuck, Seven in my mind is one of the best melodic prog songs out there. It encapsulates everything I love about that style and Garrison's unique talent. Not to mention the lyric material is fucking awesome
Oh and if you're looking for some stuff close to old Erra, check out Invent, Animate
i kinda like the music itself but really hate the screamo bullshit vocals.
wat do?
Instrumentals? I know Northlane puts up instrumentals of all their songs.also Animals As Leaders in an instrumental only group that plays similar stuff but they can be pretty progressive at times. There are bands out there that use mostly clean vocals like Periphery but even they use screams at times
fuck yes, Pantera is just so raw and angry. That band is perfect for lifting

Pretty varied but I like listening to them all
That's my biggest gripe about metalcore. Some of their songs with the melodic rhythmic structures are fantastic. But then when the singing starts, the cringe inducement begins.
u kiddin right?
No, what's wrong with podcasts from a wide variety of perspectives?
wow Veeky Forumsizens have bad taste
Good choice with the disturbed indestructible by far their best song.
Recently been listening to some more epic violin based music. That shit is incredible. I was listening to it recently while breaking my squat PR and it felt so fucking good and my heart was beating like a race horse at the end. Good examples below:

If anyone has any other good example's of the epic violin music I'd be much obliged.
Also listened to Florence and the Machine song "Breath of Life" which has that smilairly epic feel:

As a side note do any user's use Listen on Repeat app at the gym. It's perfect since I prefer to listen to one song and just repeat it.
Man the riffs this band produces are so fucking delicious.
Ikr. /mu/ was right. This is awful. I guess I'll be heading back.
only good taste in here desu
hi jabari
fuck
don't worry i think you're a cool guy.
This is pretty good man
