Veeky Forums, I'm starting to great really worried.
Lately, I am noticing that my energy levels and my mood are wayyyyy too fucking closely related to food intake to be coincidental.
When I haven't eaten for a bit, I get very easily depressed and angry, and I feel lethargic. And when I eat, I feel fantastic, I smile at everyone like a fucking retard, I get homework done quickly, etc.
What is this? Am I prediabetic? Or is this psychological and I totally have bipolar disorder?
Go get blood work done at a doc and see for yourself. You're prob pre diabetic but that diagnosis won't do shit until you get it confirmed
Colton Jackson
I had/have a similar problem, had full blood test done with a doctor, everything, even testosterone was perfect. not diabetic, nothing.
still not sure, but doing 16:8 IF takes care of it.
Joshua Adams
I live in the People's Republic of Canada. I can't just go to a clinic and ask for bloodwork. I have to be actually ill to get such an expensive test.
That is somewhat comforting; will start IF and see if that helps clear things up.
Jeremiah Murphy
I have something similar, and I only figured it out recently but it makes a lot of sense. I realized that the only time I EVER did work outside of school was in the middle of the night, why? Because I had eaten dinner and everyone else was asleep.
Am I fucking autistic or something?
Brandon Garcia
You guys shoudl research how carbs/sugar affect your body.
Then you should decide if you want to continue your diet or switch to a low carb diet. Maybe even Keto. If you want to continue your diet your should research "slow carbs".
Ryan Campbell
Eat more protein with your meals maybe? Its supposed to make you feel satiated longer.
Connor Powell
Oh shit that's actually a good point. I've recently been going to a higher carb diet (read: fast food) and eating less protein. I'll work on getting more protein in, and less fast food.
Mason Morales
I'm the guy doing IF. don't cut all fats or carbs. it'll kill your testosterone/boners.
fats are great.
Ethan Harris
Ah, no, when I cut carbs, I go high fat. My intake becomes 70% chicken and bacon. (kidding - there's a lot of ceasar salad dressing in there)
Daniel Rivera
>blood test >expensive
>showing symptoms of of diabetes >not actually ill
Are you sure you live in Canada and not, I don't know - Cambodia.
Just dont forget to eat liver 1-2 times a week or you're gonna have a bad time.
Dylan Hernandez
Also valid option.
Cooper Morales
You are obviously eating too many carbs, probably sugar too.
Jacob Martinez
>I haven't eaten for a bit, I get very easily depressed and angry, and I feel lethargic This is normal it's called hunger, dumbass.
David Jackson
t. a modern carb-cuck
Owen Ramirez
Eat liver? Why?
Dominic Jackson
Yep me too, i get HANGRY
It's normal, it means you're cutting effectively. Some people just get moody and irritable when hungry, it's a mechanism to stop annoying cunts getting in the way of our next meal.
Try to eat before when you have to socialise and stuff.
David Barnes
Carbs are evil, right redditor ?
Bentley Perry
>I realized that the only time I EVER did work outside of school was in the middle of the night, why? Because I had eaten dinner and everyone else was asleep. No I'm the same. You feel properly alone and relaxed with everyone asleep. Subconciously when other family in the house are awake it makes you nervous and annoyed because you feel like they judge you and want them to just fuck off. like just FUCK OFF
we're shitty sons
Noah Rivera
Hey you mong I live in canada too and have the same problem. I just went to the fucking clinic and told them the symptoms said in the OP and they gave me bloodwork for free. It's not hard.
Christian Carter
If you fear you may have the beetus, you can just taste your piss, if it tastes sweet you'll have your answer.
Isaac Thomas
How much fucking autism?
It's normal to feel like that when hungry, all humans do. It's not diabetes.
Ryan Hall
It's got hella micronutrients the body needs. Everything besides the organs are basically kindling to keep you from dying.
Henry Stewart
It's a nutrient accumulator. pretty much all the organs are.
