Going to the gym early actually makes me feel refreshed all day. For the first couple weeks the DOMS made me feel like wanting to die for the whole day but you get used to it later.

Yeah man I feel you. Caffeinated cardio/caffeinated cutting is great and all but in reality the benefit is small, almost negligible, and definitely not worth the day to day zombified feeling you get from being constantly caffeinated.

I pretty much got to a point where I had to pull an all nighter and no matter how much coffee I drank I couldn't stay alert. Now I only drink a cup of coffee when I really need it and I feel 100x better throughout the day. Don't fall for the caffeine meme gents, and definitely don't be a sipsfag

That's my morning, my afternoon/evening routine depends entirely on when I get home, but the key points are that I eat basically whenever I get home (usually between 5:30 & 6), and I'm heading up to bed by 9:45, lights out at 10.

If you're having problems staying awake during the day, it's because you're not sleeping enough. I honestly don't know how people can bitch about being tired, but then not sleep; I beat myself up pretty good in my workouts, so by the time 9:30 rolls around I'm pretty much ready for bedtime.

Sleep is a weird one, if I don't set an alarm and have nothing to get up for in the morning I can easily sleep for 10 hours or so. However I find that when I do this I am always knackered in the afternoon and have almost no energy.

If I set an alarm and make myself get up once I have had 6-8 hours sleep I feel a lot better during the day and have loads of energy. Anyone else find this? My last job had shifts all over the place and I work generally have 5-6 hours sleep a night and I always felt great.

Set your alarm for one hour before you get up. So if you want to get up by 6:00 set the alarm at 5:00. Then when you wake up at 5:00 take a caffeine pill (it's only one cup of coffee) then go back to sleep. In an hour you'll be wide awake (set another alarm just in case). Just make sure you get 6-8 hours of sleep and you'll be fine.

It's not a requirement. I work 50-60 hours a week and go to school as well. I'm usually up around 8, in class from 9-11, then head to work. Then it's to the gym whenever I get out of work, then homework and hopefully been by 1 or 2am. You need to find the time, but it doesn't need to be 5am.

That's a decimal son...30 minutes at most. On Sundays I get an extra 2 hours, but I usually use it to sleep.

Depends on the person, I need between 7 and 8 hours on normal days, a bit more if it was an exhausting day. But for most people 6 is too little though. Also, you may think you're getting enough sleep but is you just being used to feel that way and live between coffees.

I used to have a god tier sleep schedule. I'd wake up anywhere from 4-5 AM with no alarm, feeling completely refreshed and ready to go. Kicked ass and got everything done early in the day. By the time the evening rolled around, I was ready to knock the fuck out. I was asleep most days at 8 PM.
Granted with this schedule you're going to have no social life at all, but then again it's not like I'm going to have one anyway.
