I'm not fat (110lb at 5'3"), and keep a rather healthy diet (vegan), but my guts look exactly like pic related.

It's probably that you have too much body fat and too little muscle (weight by itself doesn't mean much), but it might also be a postural issue (such as an overactive psoas from too much sitting), or both.

You have muscle imbalances. I had this as well, but fixed it. Look up anterior pelvic tilt. Stretching and proper form deadlifts are the way to go.

I've got a similar appearance OP, and I'm also about the same stats (112lbs at 5'4"). My stomach went away when I lowered my BF% but then again so did my tits, so for me it was shit fat distribution and a choice between compromising my stomach or my chest.

You can always experiement with several variables to see what the problem is: try lowering your BF and see what that does. Then try cutting back on your sodium for 2 weeks, see what that does. etc. The scientific method works pretty well desu

Not that being healthy is mutually exclusive from being vegan, but even if you got perfect micronutrient count you still are going to have diet deficiencies unless you have a nutrition specialist walk you through your diet choice.

Vegan can be healthy. But like any diet it implies limitations on food sources. This can result in a monodiet (like what op indicated above). Monodiets are not good for you.
