how many of you liars actually bench your own body weight?

> how many of you liars actually bench your own body weight?

Ah, the bench haha. I do not bother with such trivialities, my tricep compound of choice is
*teleports behind you*
Weighted dips
(The dip station is behind the bench)

im 81kg
i can bench 110kg

I can do a pushup, that's basically like benching my bodyweight

Everybody should be able to bench their own weight.
I've been lifting for a year and relatively DYEL at 80kg still and I can bench 100kg.

Literally the same. Lifting for almost two years, second year more seriously. What about you, user?

A couple of months, bro

almost. i'm 167lbs and i've most i've ever done is 160 for 3 reps. Not sure what 1 rep max is.

Can someone give a me a quick rundown on these 2 fellas?

I can bench just under my BW btw

This wasnt me Im pretty much the same, about 2 years of lifting

benched 30 lbs over my bodyweight back when I was spoopy skelly in high school gym class

i don't bench cos i have a weakened left arm that got a bit fucked up from rugby and subsequent 3 operations, and as such i try to work each arm separately wherever i can so i don't rely on my right and let it lag behind. but i'm 78kgs and can db press like 28kgs on each, could probably get a decently higher 1rm on my right but i'm training for hypertrophy because
>muh vanity
dunno what any of that translates into bench wise tho, pretty sure it would be higher than the sum of the two just from it being more stable and starting in a convenient position
also i've only been lifting seriously for like 5 months and i feel like a weak little bitch

Came here to post this

no it's not, do you know what a lever is?

I can rep 45 lbs more than my body weight for like 3-4 reps

I weight 145lbs at 5'7"

Can bench 75lb dumbbells (150lb total) for 5 reps, easily, with good form.

I don't do barbell bench but I'm aware that dumbell bench is harder, how much harder?

I've only been lifting for about 1 year exactly, is this strength remarkable for my weight and time spent lifting or no?

210 lbs my 1rm is 315

I can do 73.5for 5x5 but will try 75 for the first time tomorrow. I'm 75kg so I guess so.

about 1.5 weeks

PR was 150kg at 110-112kg, 4 months ago, current best is 140kg at 102-103kg.

The first time I bench pressed my bodyweight was at 85kg, 2 months into lifting, at 26. Benched 2pl8 at 4 months, first time in a commercial gym, which actually had barbells made out of solid metal and plates that weren't plastic filled with sand.

>mfw hit 50x5 on Monday

I bench 50lbs

>I don't do barbell bench but I'm aware that dumbell bench is harder, how much harder?
It's only harder if you actually focus on barbells.
For you, barbell bench will be harder.

Weight 210, 5rm probably around 220 right now, still cutting.

>my 123lbs wife was sad as fuck yesterday, because she could only bench 57lbs for 50 and couldn't get 56, so she'd actually be somewhat competetive
>there are actually people on Veeky Forums who actually train with 50lbs

How the fuck does that happen? Did you wake up from a fucking coma?

>needing simple machines to bench your body weight

Pushup is superior to bench, bit it's not the same.

150ish here

benching 165 for 3 reps

Can someone give me a quick rundown on these two

I'm a grill who started benching last month and doesnt eat enough. That's how, u dork

...

I bench slightly above bodyweight, but I am a complete and utter benchlet

Benching your body weight is a pretty early milestone.

I remember being so stoked the first time I did.

my goodness. Learn physics, you dumbass. A push up is only about 65% of your bodyweight.

This. I remember those feels when I was a dyel way back in high school.
Now I weigh 190 and bench 250.

Last weigh in: 193

Last bench workout: 197.5 5x8

What do I win?

I weigh 194 and bench 230 but I still look like shit man

I weight 138 and I can bench 145 for reps

i like to press 50 times 50 lbs occasionally.

>Weigh 187
>Last bench was 170x6
Nearly there

>implying that a BW bench is in any way impressive

>*teleports behind you*
>(The dip station is behind the bench)
sensible kek

I bench 85kg @75kg BW

Sorry mate but that's pretty slow progression. You need to reassess your routine.
