Smoke away, cigs boost test, but don't be surprised when you find yourself struggling to run a mile.

no

sure if you like low stamina and cancer

B..but its not like im smoking packs a day like an addict

If you really want to live up to the breathless weightlifter stereotype be my guest, weed and even beer are better choices though.

You're the literal type to smoke a pack a day

Obviously it starts small then you want more and don't resist the urge

>addict
that's literally you

Bs. I started smoking regularly right when I got 18. At most I smoked 3-4 a day - never went past this average. Doing this for 4 years now and I don't even smoke daily anymore. 2-3 every other day and that's it. I even stopped for over half a year when I felt like it. Also I was - endurance wise - in my best physical shape ever when I was in the army...which was also the time when I smoked the most.
Getting completely addicted to smoking so you smoke a pack or two a day is literally impossible unless you lack the slightest bit of selfcontrol.

well it's certainly not going to help you

Not everyone gets addicted and smokes a pack a day, thats just a meme. I can limit myself to one or two a day and have been doing so for years. Not that its healthy by any means, but people who smoke a pack or two a day are fucked when it coems to self control

Was your mind set "at least I'm not smocking packs like addicts"
Shows rationalizing and they'll feel 2-3 or 3-4 then maybe 4-5 at least is t packs a day
Soon "at least its not 2 packs a day"

>i only want to suffocate my lungs a LIL bit
on second smoke up user

smoking for almost a year now, i havent noticed any dramatic changes in my stamina
plus if you quit before 21 your lungs heal back to be pink and virgin

I don't have a particular mindset towards this. I don't feel like smoking more, that's why I don't do it. Infact it has gotten less as time progresses and I smoke less now than 2-3 years ago.

It actually does thats why i do it before work... it calms me down and gives me confidence

Nicotine is not good and I think you should quit, but one or two a day is probably not that bad. Take this with all the grains of salt in the world because I am just some guy on the internet with an anecdote but a doctor I know once told me that a single daily cigarette in his opinion could be healthy. No clue what he based that on, could be nothing.

As someone who did this for a while, stop now while it's easier to. Everyone who smokes regularly starts smoking in the way you're describing. It creeps up on you.

Mind set matters, what it does for you too.

user uses it for anxiety which depending on the level could drastically affect whether there is an addiction

Well i only sometimes get this anxiety during or before work which is when i would smoke 1 or 2... but i wont smoke on the weekends when i dont work.. could that still lead to an addiction?

Depends on your brain's chemical makeup. I've smoked, done all manner of drugs, both prescription and illecit, and not once did I get addicted. Drugs just don't do it for me, I mean I love that nicotine rush after a gym session but it's that's it. at most I'd smoke 5 a week, with a 20 pack lasting me a month. Same thing goes for my alcohol, a bottle of scotch lasts me a little over 2 months.

Now plastic crack....that's an addiction I can't shake.

>first drag of the day

repped

Not that guy but unless you have the worst will power ever it probably wont lead to addiction. Honestly, i wouldn't recommend smoking to help with anxiety anyways. Thats how I started and now I just do it out of boredom. 1 or 2 obviously isnt as bad as a pack a day, but theres a lot of other things you can do for anxiety that dont include inhaling smoke and chemicals into your body

>tfw its almost been a full year since i quit

>tfw still feel like shit

Pro Tip:

Smokers say that they smoke to deal with stress. But actually watch smokers and you'll notice something about their behavior.

They smoke after a stressful event; presentation to their boss, submitting an assignment etc.

A smoker's body is always stressed, when there is relief from stress in reality they need to smoke to bring their heart rate back up.

I also speak from experience, though nowdays I only really smoke at parties Another pro-tip; at a party the girl who is smoking is usually keen for some D. Ask to bum a few drags in exchange for some of your drink and that's an easy in, if she considers you attractive that is.

>that's an easy in, if she considers you attractive that is.

>TFW i find smoking super sexy for some weird reason.
Maybe i've watched the graduate too many times or something

>Ask to bum a few drags in exchange for some of your drink
No one do this if you ever want to have sex

>Has worked twice this year

>hey m'lady would you care to barter a few drags of your tobacco product for a sip of m'wine

I don't smoke but I use nicotine gum and vaping to kill my hunger and relax
Also I don't see any negative impact on my stamina

fucking kek
I believe him though.
It's kinda regular human interactions you autismos

Nope.
It just takes away the anxiety caused by your body screaming for it's nicotine hit.

It's like letting a mosquito bite you just so you can feel the nice relief of scratching it

Then again if a sperglord did it the effect would be very different. I don't even think its what you do anymore, its how you do it. Plus you who are. Imagine if a drunk 9/10 came up to you at a party and started dropping spaghetti everywhere, most guys would put up with it.

>but its not like im smoking packs a day like an addict

Literally every smoker has a meme line they always say like this.

If you were in your best shape when you smoked the most, you would've been in an even better shape not smoking at all. Idiot.

>Anecdote
What is science?

It doesn't help with your anxiety at all - I quit a month ago and I've been way less anxious.

Your baseline level of angst is consistently high - the only relief you're feeling is the loss of a craving - this is not the same as being less anxious.

Fix your anxiety rather than giving yourself anxiety and cancer.

>black cigarettes

white trash detected

so does heroin to a heroin addict. it's the feeling of your relapse.

Black devil nigga you for real? you 13yo?

No. Anxiety around smoking is a signal of something else being the axiogen, OR, the fact that you're already addicted to cigarettes.
I mean, smoke ahead if it'll prevent you from going an hero. A lit cigar in the mouth is healthier than a bullet across the skull.
Besides, you can still better your cardio if you're actually only smoking 1 or 2 a day.

Not me. I smoke 25-30 cigarettes a day. I acknowledge that it is a weakness, but have no intention of quitting as long as I can still finish a 5k under 21 minutes.

Fucking perfect analogy.

Its already basicly addiction.
You escape and supress symptoms of some unconcious negative mind patterns and emotions instead of figuring out the cause of that anxiety.

Find and crush those fears and limiting beliefs instead of denying and escaping reality with tobacco, sugar, porn, negative people, eccesive internet and other junkfood activities.

Do yourself and the world favor and live kick-ass life
