Noob gains

Are these fairly decent gains? I have no idea, so I thought I'd ask.

yeh theyre alright, pretty standard just keep going and add in accessories to prevent muscular imbalances.

I started lifting again one month ago too. I'm also 6'2". I started everything from the bare minimum in SL because I've just recovered from a broken arm I had for an entire year and I have a knee ligament replacement. Haven't weighed myself since but I started 178.

Your progress is similar to mine except you started higher on the lifts. The numbers are still in the novice range but I'm sure you are seeing small progress in your body and you keep adding weight. It's definitely a good start. 3500 calories seems like a lot depending on your body type and if you are interested in adding lean muscle or just mass in general. But if it is working for you and you feel good you might as well continue.

I'm 1.5 month on SL5x5 and these are mine:
@ 5'11 / 220lbs
Squat: 143lbs to 198lbs
Bench press: 93lbs to 126lbs
OHP: 71lbs to 99lbs
Deadlift: 143lbs to 198lbs

Almost a month of SL 5x5 here. Units in lbs.

Squat 45 -> 100
Bench 95 -> 115
Barbell Row 85 -> 105
OHP 65 -> 80
Deadlift 115 -> 155

You're eating too much. 8 lbs a month is stupid weight gain. Aim for 2-3 lbs a month. Any more is just fat.

Pull ups, dips, ab work, bands, etc.

To talk noob gains, after a period of basically a year:

I think I'm lagging on my progression of my squats and deadlifts, but that's since i haven't really hit those. I was also at 155lbs in weight, but did a cut in the last two months due to being forced to eat a liquid diet due to getting my wisdom teeth pulled on both sides of my mouth. My target weight is about 155-160 by the end of this year.

If you can't Squat your body weight you don't deserve 3,500000 calories you fat fuck.
