this is what i usually snack on:
peanuts and cashew nuts (somewhat expensive, very filling, but pretty healthy and high in protein)
potato chips (cheap, easy to eat in large quantities, but not very healthy and low in protein)
chocolate (cheap, sweet, lots of kcal)

Roasted chickpeas, seasoned with chilli flakes and smoked paprika.

Actually I just meant if you're going to have so much fat/sugar in your diet it's weird to avoid salted stuff. I eat nuts every day.
