How do they survive abuse so long?

How is it that some old roiders haven't gotten disfigured over time?

Pic related, 6'7" 300 pound Magnus Samuelson. He's 47 and won the WSM all the way back in 1998.

What's keeping him alive and not looking mutated?

He didn't take too much growth hormon

no stims+ healthy diet

Because safe roid use, even over decades, is perfectly possible if you're not a total retard.

Let me guess, you're American right? If so this news might come a shock to you.

Don't assume his doses were even abusive. Tall fucker with thick bones is going to be strong even without roids.

Lesser genetics will have to use 2, 4, 8 x as much crap to get half as strong.

Magnus also wasn't that great at static strength. He was good enough at static to be there, but it was his dynamic strength and conditioning that made him win... once... out of 13 attempts.

What would this safe gear use look like? Genuine curiosity.

Even though Magnus is lean recently, he's still no where near competition bodybuilding lean. Probably 12% bodyfat there. Honestly it doesn't take nearly as high of doses to hold muscle if you aren't going under 10%.

What the fuck are you on about?

The guy in the fucking OP is an obvious example.

Arnie is probably the most famous. But there are fucking LOADS.

Lmao
There are guys on misc that had been cruising for decades and have kids

I meant what kind of substances, doses duration etc... as in; HOW to do it right?

Keep androgens like test under 500mg weekly. Rely on stuff like Deca and EQ. Don't use Ten. Don't use orals. Serms like Torem which help combat estro sides and increase HDL good cholesterol. Cardio for blood pressure control. Eat healthy. Spend more time off or at a TRT dose then you do blasting.

Learn Use vs. Abuse.

>take something
>get effect
>get side effect

this is always the case, roids are never safe and just because you are unharmed on the outside doesnt mean you are healthy

Guy you're responding to here. Basically what this guy said while I was gone - Make sure you're eating right, not blasting too long, using the right AIs and PCT, be fucking honest with your doctor (it's their job to keep you healthy) and get regular bloods.

That's on top of the obvious shit any user should be doing, like using reliable sources, clean needles, proper injection technique, etc.

No problem.

Some of these people still live to old age, and there is a wide variety of these drugs and doses vary a lot too. We're asking if there is a minimum effective dose of the safer variety. Saying "nuh uh all roids is bad" doesn't add anything to the discussion.

Don't worry he won't live much longer

test

Because of his home country and their strict usage laws he couldn't use too much heavy shit and be on heavy amounts of gear 24/7.

So he blasted heavy when out of country and probably took JUUUUST enough to maintain while at home all the while not indulging in the stuff that would make him look like a bonafide freak. Because..well, they'd bust him.

Due to circumstances and genetics he found a perfect drug use protocol that allowed him to conquer but not get completely ruined by his drug abuse.

But he's definitely not living another 15 years though. Not without some intervention.

probably lots of cardio and clean eating as well as moderate, smart roid use and not "abuse", though the majority of users are abusers.

sylvester stallone is another good example. small doses of HGH for various movies have made him retain his youth well, yet he was never an obvious abuser.

lurk /fraud/ you dolt

The only reason that is noteworthy for a physique is his height. 300 pounds at 12% bf on a 6'7" frame with thick bones is nothing special. If you shrink him down with the squared cube law to 6ft even then he'd be only 228 pounds. At 5'9" that would 200 pounds. At 12% bf that's "nice" but hardly noteworthy.

Any evidence for any of this?

Especially >he's definitely not living another 15 years though. Not without some intervention

Thought not.

Can not meds please stfu. You will die earlier with steroid use no matter what. Guess what happens to your heart. It grows inward until the lumen is so small your die from lack of blood Flow. Your cells self replicate like crazy (Cancer for days). A lot more shit happens but you can Google that.

t. guy who knows nothing
What you're describing is tren heart and that only happens at high load of trenbol with increased cardio

That wasn't Magnus at competition time.
That was Magnus at Dancing With The Stars, where he slimmed down.
He's probably at 12-13% bodyfat there, also, don't downplay the effect of b/w photos and lighting.
Also, he's got some amazing genetics and insane strength (Captains of Crush #4). Even still get got BTFO in WSM year after year, he won, once, when everything fell into place. This was Pre Pudzianowski years too.

Physical exercise also increases the size of your heart as well.

will i get cancer though?

Everyone has cancer, the question is are you feeding it enough that your immune system can't keep it in check. That's dependent on your immune system potency, your diet, your steroid use and endocrine performance, what other substances you use, etc.

Anyone who eats big and trains big is at increased risk compared to someone who eats less and focuses more on cardiopulmonary fitness, and /fraud/ increases your risk compared to natty growth, but the risk varies based on hundreds of baseline factors.

why not use tren? you mean consistently or at all?

t. planned on cruising for a cycle or two shortly

>Anyone who eats big and trains big is at increased risk compared to someone who eats less and focuses more on cardiopulmonary fitness
while this might be true in some regards, regular resistance training still slashes cancer mortality rates in HALF compared to people who don't weight train. getting cancer is not something you should be concerned about from lifting - quite the opposite actually.

So much fucking bro science in this thread.

Being an inactive slob is less healthy than working out, yes, but lifting on a cut or at maintenance is more healthy than bulking.

If your workout goal is gain size and weight for visual hypertrophy or is to pursue maximum strength to the point of force feeding yourself to maximize gain, you are going to be less healthy than the guy who's goal is to increase skeletal muscle mass as a fraction of his current weight and increase the strength and condition of his muscles as a compliment to his efforts to achieve good cardiovascular conditioning.

Going to failure for maximum growth is also bad for you because of the breakdown products it floods your blood with, and the strain these metabolic compounds place on your liver and kidneys.

Which isn't to say that it might not be worth it. Certainly there are far more damaging vices and habits.
