I am from EU and one thing I have noticed is that there are alot less chads and DYELS in the gyms I've been to.
For example my gym is the exacty opposite of like planet fitness, small dark dungeon where there is only sweat and chalk, weight banging 24/7 and a very good "push harder" type of ambience in there.

I go to a gym in germany. Gym costs 60Euros a month. Very clean, personal trainer included, drinks included, all staff have studied sports at a uni and they all work out there outside their shift aswell. I feel like the people coming are 40% dads, 30% youth, 25% elderly, 5% arabs. Arabs dress like they go to the disco. People are very nice when asking for occupied benches and racks, most offer you to alternate sets if you also want to do an exercise at the same place they do. No loners, if you lift there for a while you become buddies with the other guys. I also like that the staff will keep making conversation with you and ask you about your current routine, unless you are doing your own thing, they also reach out and shake your hand when they greet you. Some of the staff even walks around and checks on peoples form, I regularly see them save the backs of people that just walk in and do diddies because they saw their buddies do it. People also put the weights where they belong, I see staff patrol around and put them where they belong if not, or at least they redestribute them because over the course of a day people constantly carry plates between the benches and the squat racks.
