First week ever lifting

>first week ever lifting
>lanklet dyel
>first time squat can rep 120
>max bench is 55

what the fuck why are my legs so disproportionately stronger. I've never exercised before in my life.

dude gtfo with ur dumbass shit

That's not even disproportionate.

...

pretty normal actually

that's 110% normal as fuck and desu not even impressive for a dyel

>not even lmao1pl8 squat
>holy shit im so disproportionately strong guys i dont even lift

this is embarrassing

i dont lift

I barely squatted 95 pounds and ohp 135 for reps when I started.

Is this more inline with your train of thought op?

Even now my legs are still weak and I can't even squat anymore without ruining my hips (got up to 315 for reps in a year).

I literally bought a leg press to work my shitty legs. Stop complaining you retard. You want your legs to be stronger even if your legs were actually as strong as you think they are.

55 lbs is your max bench? Kys

I think it's kilos, so 2.5 pl8

or does he actually bench 55 lbs? I don't think that's reasonable even for a complete beginner

Hes probably extremely underweight or had god awful form.

>ohp 135 for reps when you started
What the fuck?

I did 4 reps of 1pl8 OHP on my first gym session but my movement was complete shit in hindsight

You did a push press, not a strict press.

Nah it wasn't a push press but I didn't do a clean, straight movement with my shoulders.

My first time bench was 55 too! But my squat was 65...

my first bench was 50 user youre doing fine dont try to pump too much on your first try, just try adding 10lbs next time and see how it goes.

*it was a 3x10

It is reasonable. Many people struggle with the bar when they start. The guy could be 15 for all we know

>mfw I benched 65 for reps first time in the gym

feels good to be superior

How about your height and weight though fatty

I was about 5'6 and 189lbs

get on my level

55lb bench not counting the bar?

Never count the bar user.

The bar isn't weightless you fucking moron.

i can ohp my squat weight

its so fucking bad. thats neet life for you

>he counts the bar

So does every major sports organization, dipshit.

stop falling for the meme, user. you're getting memed right now.

the bar has negative velocity when you do any motion thus counting as weightless you dingus

>object in motion
>has negative velocity

...

lol

thanks for the free (you)'s

...

the problem is these tards will actually still count the bar afterwards.

whatever, long as it inflates the ego

Negative velocity is a thing. Velocity depends on direction along with speed

everyone counts the bar you dumb nig

but you walked around. that's why. at least you used your legs for something unlike your upper body. also legs are pretty much the largest muscle on the body

Uh no, they only do that in olympics brother. Anything else is ego lifting.

Speed doesn't depend on direction, it's not a vector

>5'6

you deserved my (you) I chuckled at your jest.

I only bench by tying multiple barbells together like a Gatling gun of bars

if you can't bench a full 0 lb gatling DYEL?

>larger muscles are stronger than smaller muscles

Woah man.

"My legs are actually really strong"

Everyone who doesn't lift ever

That's pretty incredible.

>Legs walk around and support the weight of your body your whole life
>surprised when you can rep somewhere around your body weight
Really makes you think doesn't it?

Do you walk around on your hands or on your feet you fucking idiot?

Legs are always stronger. But 120 kg squat? Jesus, that's extremely good, I got to that after 2 years of lifting, I started with 50 kg squats, good genes user.

I'm 6ft on week 2
147lbs
1plate + 5lbs squat
1plate + 10lbs deadlift
1plate + 5lbs bench

Should I do OHP also?

follow a routine

i.e. yes you mong

>Get on my level

I'd have to kneel, user.

how do I get legs like that?

>not using freedom units
>being a fucking commie

Leave

Why do you think it's 1/2/3/4 instead of 4/4/4/4 you stupid faggot?

Just make sure you don't count the bar, the bar is already factored in.

When I was 10 years old I benched 55lbs for 3-5 reps x infinity sets because I didn't know what I was doing and had the normie perspective of 100lbs = heavy 5lbs = light.

ikr. I could bench 160 when I was 13 years old.

55 pounds is nothing to every age group over 10. OP is trolling.

Here we have the Samefag, as I like to call him.

People think Veeky Forums is cancerous but they don't understand the fact that it is literally one sole loser who will shit on every single target he can to feel better about himself.

Beware of the Veeky Forums Samefag.

I got pinned under 70 when I started. This is definitely possible.
