Only when maxing

Deadlift 210kg

Don't wear the belt during deadlift. It's uncomfortable.

wahlander quick release
160kg (I blame this on disc)
yes
currently have a bulging disc, so dont DL much. conv when I do tho
yes. but it pinches my fat, so I dont get much out of it

>Inzer
>345x1 high bar
>yes, for working sets
>440x1 conv
>yes, had to change my setup though and I wear it higher than when I do squats

Low bar 455lbs
I wear it for maxing and doing sets heavier than 275lbs
405lbs conventional but I haven't maxed that out in months so idk what it is now

>1. Do you own a weightlifting belt?
Yes.
>What kind?
Same as the one in the pic.
>2. How much do you squat?
550 lbs is my personal best. Low Bar.
>3. Do you wear a belt during your squats?
Only on the heavy sets.
>4. How much do you deadlift?
About the same as my squat, maybe a little more. I don't max out on my deads anymore.
>5. Do you wear a belt during your deadlifts?
Only on heavy sets.

Better core stability and I can brace much harder when the reps get hard or when I max. It wouldn't even say it adds weight to your max, but if definitely stabilizes you.

I just bought an Ader, little $38 cheapo probably made in pakistan or someshit. Should be here in less than a week, cant wait to give it a go!

My lifts are shit too, but I heard allan thrall say its cool to use the belt because it makes your core and lifts without a belt -- even stronger.

Gonna use it for my Squats, Deads, and OP working sets

>yes, i forget what brand but a 10mm leather lever belt
>1pl8 for 5x5 highbar, some reps paused
>no, it's only 1 fucking pl8
>2pl8x5 conventional
>no, i'm about 300lbs away from even considering it
desu the only reason i own a belt while being this weak is because i used to lift. i was decently strong, but had some horrible imbalances that lead to me using a belt as a crutch. i started adding in glute and ab work early this time so i can try to work out my imbalances before i get to any actual weight.

yes, like in your pic
lmao3pl8 high bar
yes
lmao4pl8 conventional
no, belt triggers stomach acid in diddly-position

Don't diddly with water in your stomach, problem solved. Essentially the same reason why boxers only rinse their mouth with water when in the ring.

Yes, a Valeo leather belt, I do olympic lifts.

Back Squat 150kgs, Front squat 138kgs

For my top sets, yes

Don't do deadlifts except maybe twice a year, got 168kgs last time.

For my top sets, yes

Used to squat 300 low bar before knee went poop.

>4. How much do you deadlift? Conventional / sumo / other?
Max 425 conventional.

>5. Do you wear a belt during your deadlifts?
Yes, above 315.

If I had to buy myself another belt, I'd skip the Inzer and get a Pioneer Fit single prong.

>single prong is best imo
>Pioneer Fit same quality, cheaper and wayyyyyy better customer service than Inzer

I'm squatting 265 5x5 and my lower back is not happy so I'm thinking about a belt.
