Before. If you weigh it after it depends how long you cooked it for and how much water it absorbed so cooked weight can vary but the dry weight for the same amount would always the same.

For my daily of though, we have this machine at work for the next few weeks as a part of a wellbeing initiative. Apparently I'm 36% body fat. It weighs you etc and then you put your thumbs on these metal plates, it's inaccurate right? Tell me it is pls.

Down 15 lbs in the last three weeks. So a bit of progress but no where near my goals.

It is pretty inaccurate as it depends on hydration, also if your hands are wet or not and fat distribution if these metal parts were not also below your feet. But desu you're probably pretty fat regardless with that outcome.

I am stuggling to get to 1500 most days. Have a protein shake for breakfast and lunch and cook lean meat and veggies for dinner. Even though it's a bit of a struggle I still feel hungry during the day. I think it's because I just don't have access to shit food as much as I use to. Stopped bringing my credit card to work and bringing my food so I am not tempted to buy crap dying slow hours.

Last time I went to the doctor I was 280lbs and my blood pressure was like 153/103. I'm 220lbs now but I'm scared to go back.

my tips for committing and sticking to some process:
1. make sure you enjoy the process and the various steps and elements that constitute it.
2. reduce the threshold as much as possible for the desire behavior, and massively increase the threshold for unwanted behavior.

generally, it helps (for me at least) to focus on systematic solutions to help me stick to some process rather than willpower or guilt or pride or whatever else human emotion. good luck, m8.

Fast food is TOO fucking good. I am a shitty cook, I don't know what to eat, I don't know how to shop, I don't know how to plan meals or pick out what to eat or how to manage any of it. Cooking takes forever, leaves dishes, tastes like shit, whereas in 3 minutes in any direction is every fast food with an insane amount of variety, no clean up, no waiting, just instant fucking delicious food.

i had a similar problem in that the complete indecision prompted me to order delivery which fucked me up. what helped was figure out certain food thats absolutely without a doubt were good for me. these were grilled chicken, greek yogurt (this was a godsend truly), bananas, apples. no bread and very little rice. only drank black coffee and tea and milk occasionally. whenever, i had late night cravings, i simply stuffed myself with water (or coffee if it was the morning) and waited it out. i didn't know how to cook, so i stuck to simple but good food. i found out i was generally internally satisfied eating these things, so it stuck.

once these worked, i slowly moved into stricker CICO focus. then i also added protein powder to my diet which helped a lot. i also deleted delivery apps and credit card info on my devices.

remember man, you're gonna wanna stick to something. it's hard but you gotta try different things, and tweak when the process isn't working. eventually you'll find something that gives you satisfactory results while you feel happy enough enduring it all.

What's your method for grilled chicken

generally grill some fresh chicken with a little olive oil. then some spices. i played around with stuff like thyme rosemary paprika pepper lemon etc. then i got the hang of it, then i move on to some marinades (where i am at now) which are mostly greek yogurt or mustard or tomato based.

the first few ones sucked but i eventually managed to make shit i like.

Yes. 1lb a week is kind of slow, but a very typical and healthy weight loss rate. Many of us turbolards elect for 2 or 3lbs per week though, depending on starting weight.

When i am hungry i don't care, i just eat all i want. Or when i get bored, i eat. I have at best one good day a week where i care to do something (clean the dishes etc.). I hate me being like this but most of the time i don't really care. Every time i say this is the time i get fit but this year i just stopped that too. No point. Now my skin hurt because i am getting fatter everyday, it is streching. Fuck

hell yeah motherfucker. 1500 is enough where if you fuck up one meal, you can still recover.

Am I dumb? TDEE is 1900 so I basically eat 900 plus workout or 1200 and hope that workout brings it down?

My diet continues to be very restrictive, and I really don't want to stop because never in my life have I been able to eat within a small window during the day and just not be hungry again until the next day (IF). I'd love to continue doing that long term, but I've been having headaches all day. All of my muscles are sore for some reason. Just bought some multivitamins today and hope that helps. How does water weight work?
Also you guys always say to drink water, loads of it, and drink it when you're hungry. Doesn't that just re-add all the water weight you lose?

Family problems and university entry exam stressed me. It has been 2 years now, i entered a university but i am trying to enter a new one where 2 of my best friends are and i will once again enter the exam 1 month from now.

My grandfather almost died 6 months ago thats when i had panic attacks and started using antidepressant. Now i sit home all day do something so hours pass. I eat unhealthy shit.

When you drink a shitload of water, your body will flush it, along with all the nasty shit you don't want in your body.

When you stop drinking enough water, your body goes all WTF mode and starts saving it, hence increasing your water weight.

If you're totally fucking stupid like and weigh yourself at night and not after your morning piss, you will see a bigger fluctuation because your body didn't have time to process the water.

As far as losing "water weight," I'm not 100% sure why this happens at the beginning of weight loss.

What keeps you guys motivated? For me it's qt gym sloots and being able to wear nice clothes.
