Can we deadicate a thread to discussing sumo versus conventional deadlift?

I switched to sumo last week and I feel that I have much better form while deadlifting. By switching to sumo, I noticed that my upper back is much more engaged in the lift, while there is less stress on my lower back.

Which form is superior at building muscle?

bump

You answered your own question, do both.

...

>Which form is superior at building muscle?

Neither. They won't work the same muscles exactly, but you don't even need to bother switching them/subbing exercises due to the switch.

But conventional looks impressive and cool as fuck at 4+ plates to normies, and sumo looks retarded no matter how many plates are on the bar. So if you're a narcissistic show off you fucked up.

do whatever feels better.
I keep better form with sumo so I just do those.

I do conventional bc when I sumo, I feel like I'm gonna rip my asshole open

That's why I gave up gay sex... well at least gave up being a bottom

the best one is whichever one allows you to lift the most weight

Pfft quitter

Sumo
>More quads
>Probably more weight, definitely less ROM
Conventional
>More erectors, glutes, hamstrings, traps

>Which is superior
Both
>Which should I do
Both, and snatch grip deads too for sick forearm and trap gains

That's not how you spell pitcher user

>Both, and snatch grip deads too for sick forearm and trap gains
Remember to push your knees out on the initial pull and keep your ass LOW

So hex deadlift is superior?

retard
stop giving advice

snatch grip deadlift isn't the same as a snatch deadlift

Agreed. That guy is a straight up retard and should not be giving advice.

Ok smart guys how the fuck do I do it correctly then?

sumo is inferior

the only real thing that sumo does is decrease ROM, why the fuck would you ever want to decrease ROM on an exercise if your goal is to gain muscle

The back is more upright so it has to work less so the most work goes to the legs

so another real thing sumo does is move some burden from back to legs

t. probably squats lowbar

>tfw sumo makes my hips feel like they're exploding
>tfw regular conventional makes back hurt because i can't properly brace or prevent back rounding
pseudo-sumo is best for me. hands directly below shoulders with elbows touching my legs/knees. i have weird proportions.

Sumo is for fuccbois who can't accept that they can't have the best proportions for everything.

Good conventional pullers are rarely as good (relatively) benchers or squatters, but they just accept it with grace and dignity.

Sumo pullers tend to be short limbed insecure fuccbois.

Seriously.
Look at the physique of a good sumo puller. Then look at the physique of a good conventional puller.
The sumo guys always look like the kind of guys who build muscle due to insecurity. The good conventional pullers just look more manly and aesthetic.

I switch from conv to sumo sometimes between sets to spice it up. I like them both

>shit conventional puller
>shit squatter
I fucking love having long femurs mane
