By what age should men move out of their parents house?

By what age should men move out of their parents house?

I don't want to live with my parents anymore.

right after finishing high school

What is the cutoff point?

1/2/3/4 for reps

depends on how good your relationship still is with your parents, and how much you're willing to wageslave just to get by with a roommate or 2 or 5

Move out when you feel like you'd be closer to your life goals if you move out

I moved out at 17 right after school and am financially independent from my parents

What if I always get into fights with my parents? Does saving on rent justify enduring that?

21.

I'm 29 and still with parents, but I have autism. I wont be able to move out unless I get disability pension, which is hard to get, so I'll probably just end up living with parents forever and use whatever inheritance I get from them to buy a 1 bedroom apartment somewhere nice.

There's a section on this in the sticky, delete the thread and read it.

I moved out when I joined the Navy at 19.

Depends on where you're from and your social standing but for me it was at 18 right after high school.

Lived 7 years on my own.

Quit my old job and moved back in with my folks at 26 last October.

Been living here for 7 months now and started a new job at local lumber/sawmill.

No fucks given, plan to work here for the next 12 months and save all the money instead of paying rent and then moving out.

My folks are ok with this. All my money goes up to saving.

I'm 22 and moving out right now.
Lived with my grandparents, but they were always batshit insane. Extremely negative athmosphere at home made me antisocial, so i kinda lost all my friends too.
I didn't have a stable plan for the future though so i sticked around.
Now though i've learned to control my life, in school, have a career plan, and a kind-of steady good paying job. I can't help to feel like i should've moved 1 year ago when i got this job, but there's no point dwelling on it.
So i'd say 21 is the average, +- 5 years depending on if your parents are holding you back emotionally, or supporting you(but still need your help).

I imagine i'll progress slower with my plans this way in the first year, but once i get the hang of it, it'll be a life 10 times better.

21 if you're working or going to community college

Holy fuck you're me. Except I'm one year younger.

What's the plan? How much money are you moving out with?

Live with them and save every god damn dime you make and leave as soon as you have enough to, dumbass

Suck my cock I'm a 21 year old neet and proud!!!

did my mandatory military service, buggered off 3 months after I was done with it
pretty normal where I live

After getting a degree

Fuck off.

I'm studying for a BA and working part-time. I don't pay for shit, my mother prepares me food that meets my diet's requirements.

I pay only for my food + been saving up money in my account and have over 3k atm while people my age are 15k in debt.

$3k is fucking nothing you pathetic manchild

>tfw 23 yo neet
>worked backbreaking part-time wageslave job at $12/hr for a few months
>saved up $4000
>mom stole it all to buy pills and gamble at the casino

suck my dick, virgin faggot, DYEL?
In my country Bulgaria 3k $ is a lot of money for a student

Neets on suicide watch lmao

20 years

The plan's software development. I only started to care about it after i've worked 2 years manual labour, shittiest jobs ever.
Had friends working in the field, they convinced me to go to a shitty developer training (2 year).
It's not much, but the company my bro works at, literally hires tard-tier people, because people leave fast for better pay once they learn to write proper code.
You have to know some basic Java shit to get hired, and you spend the first year learning more complex stuff, with a mentor's help, for double the minimum wage. After that, you get some relatively good pay, and that only improves, and if there's no room for improvement, you've got a good CV, you can find a better company like everybody else.

Apparently, i have an easy time learning compared to my classmates, so i'm able to work 4 days a week.
I live in a poor country, so i'm ashamed to tell the value of the money i'm moving out with, but it's about 3 months rent worth of cash.
Summer is coming though, so i'll be able to work 6 days a week, cause no school during summer. Can accumulate some savings just to be safe.

I was still living with parents while making $17 an hour when I was like 22.
Living at home isn't always because you can't support yourself

But, if you're living at home because you have no motivation and won't get out and make money for yourself then you need to change something.
Cut out video games, work out more, or less if you're focusing all of your attention on lifting while not being able to afford protein powder.

Sounds good man. Good luck

I'm 21 with $30 000 but a NEET right now last few months. Been thinking of moving out soon which would help a lot with getting a decent job desu.

If you still live with your parents after 18 you're a manchild

What would you do if you were hypothetically 21 years old, NEET with no friends, bored with life and terrible relationship with your parents?

Would you move out and try to start a new life?

18

At whatever age you are financially self-sufficient.

18

Thanks, i don't know real estate prices around where you live, but i sure as hell know if i had 30 000$ worth of cash, i'd get some mortgage, a buy an apartment. Then again, here i'd probably could buy an apartment with 30 000$ without mortgage.

Whenever you have enough income to move out.
Daily reminder that moving out and then living with help from your parents is even worse than living with your parents.

>back breaking
>part time
>12/hr
Fuck you you whiney faggot. I worked 5am to 5pm, 5 days on/off in a fucking fiberglass factory for 9.50/hr when I was 18, and that was only 5 years ago si dont give me that shit about "hur cost of living 30 years ago" Spoiled fucking brat.

I'm 24 and don't plan on moving till maybe 26 or 27.
If you don't care about bringing girls home and your parents are cool living at home is top tier.

ahhaha cry more you fucking faaaaaaaaagooooooooot

Start working out, save up for a ticket to france, join foreign legion.

Or just join the American military

24 and i'd of moved out by now and bought my own place but the first 3 years of my work contract is only temporary, then once i've finished 3 years i get a permanent contract. So untill then no place will give me a morgage since i dont technically have a guaranteed job

Only 8 months to go though

I'm suggesting military or legion because those are the easiest options to get you away from your family

>People who waste money on rents

How is it a waste if it's providing you with something?

Do you think your parents house is free?

>paying hundreds of thousands of dollars of interest on a home loan is not wasting money

>implying the legion will take some whiny american neet

Wtf, have you heard of renting? Most people don't have the luxury of buying something out of college, what the he'll do you think they do?

I moved out not long after high school. Not the best decision cause had so many room mates but was tired of my parents shit. Became roomies with my dad after my parents divorced and that was even worse. Had roomies ever since then.

Beyond 23-24 is pretty sad unless you are handicapped. I think everyone understands either jewing up while going to college or saving your ass off to put a down payment for your own home.

I moved out the day I turned 18. Wish I had stayed a couple of years and saved.

>Wanting to be cannonfodder for the french army and go on suicide missions

Brilliant. Enjoy literally getting raped by criminals in training.

Cant hurt to try lel, they'll pay you a tiny amount of money for your time, and if he doesn't make it he will be in france away from family and able to start new

>wanting to be a literal merc in some african country the french fags send you to

nice larping faggot
