Zyzz playlist is goat

I wonder when the metal meme gets old, its basically impossible to enjoy that shit unless youre an autistic nerd

I listen to orchestra, especially the more dramatic ones which make me feel like an emperor

An user with magnificent taste recommended Tyr to me not long ago. It's good for getting in an excercise mood. Proof that sometimes Veeky Forums is worthwhile

austrian death machine. It always gets me in the mood

Atmospheric Black metal/sometimes Death Grips
youtube.com/watch?v=B3fqALBQTaU

>complains about metal
>listens to orchestra

both are autistic.

Zyklon
Stravinsky
Kyary Pamyu Pamyu
King Crimson

Name a music genre more manly to listen to than metal

Adult Contemporary Death Metal

HAHAHAHAAGAHGAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

I routinely listen to music from the 1940's while working out, and people have had pretty split reactions about it.
Half of the people at my gym find it weird, the other half actually like it.

ZANKOKU NA TENSHI NO YOUNI SHOUNEN YO SHINWA NI NARE

DMX - X Gon' Give It To Ya on a loop

Whatever the man wants to listen to. Manly is not giving a shit and doing what you like.

Mac demarco, bowie, Gregory and the hawk, and yael naim

Are you playing music out loud at the gym?

Nothing wrong with that

Yeahhh, no. A 'man' listening to little japanese lolita girls singing 'kawaii' ass music is not manly, ever

House, techno, etc for cardio.

Hip-hop (and sometimes rock) for lifting.

That guy obviously doesn't give a shit what other people think of him, you do.
But yeah you're so much more secure and manly

Yes.
We have a system hooked up to Sirius radio, so music is generally picked from stations on there.

Fuck yeah, when I was in middle school my mom forced me into an after school full orchestra (trumpet), it felt shitty back then but actually looking back it was a really cool experience that I learned a lot from.

youtube.com/watch?v=RQoP9iLwoos

Thought you meant you were playing out of your phone like certain types on public transport

fuck music

give me some good podcasts to listen to while lifting, gotta get in the brain gains too

kill yourself

i listen to exclusively anime soundtracks while i lift, does that bother you nigger?

Well my gym isn't inside of a bus, so no.

If I were the type to play my music out loud on public transport I would have to kick my own ass.

I listen to the OST of the Halo series. Something about it just really hits me

Neither of you are manly desu

How do you guys listen to music when lifting, just phone and normal earbuds? I have yet to find a cord long enough to go from my pockets to my head baka

ISIS nasheeds, jihad gains inchallah

I often end up finding one song that particularly hypes me up and I play the climax on repeat for a day or several days until I get bored of it. Is that autistic?

Most recently I've been lifting to the latter half of Knights of Cydonia, starting it at just before the main riff begins

youtu.be/IeZAEQJC7VA

youtu.be/OaeiaDd-2fs

Run the Jewels, Tool, DIO, some Kendrick maybe, Soilwork. So mostly metal really.

...

A-are you me Baka desu senpai

...

I don't really listen to this much but whenever it comes up on the playlist my lifts become better and easier
youtube.com/watch?v=YzlK8Namf7E

i usually watch a movie while lifting

Sad Ed Sheeran songs

Same here brah

This is fucking sad.

Really hyped jpop

SABATON

youtube.com/watch?v=2_P0mqhSrJ0
This on repeat. I just imagine May, Sori, and Mina then I start pumping out my 1rm max as if they were my working sets.
>tfw nokgf

I don't get by what you mean by "I play the climax on repeat", but for me I play a single song for a week or two til I'm bored of it, then move on to the next one.
Over the years I've dumped these songs into a single playlist, and man playing that playlist on random takes me back.

>put phone one shuffle
>mostly Bob Dylan, Kris Kristofferson, Cat Stevens and Townes Van Zandt

I should probably make a lifting playlist

Ariana's break free does get my blood pumping

Loud dance pop does it for me

asthenia is a great song but i wouldnt put it in my lifting playlist because of the long ass intro

mynoise.net

rain sounds, binaural beats

vaporwave and future funk stuff, some indie/punk bands

Dope

Angry and semi-angry hardcore mostly

Converge (all albums)
Palm
Discharge
Botch
Poison Idea
Minor Threat
Bad Brains

that kind of stuff

>hey user, are you listening to classical music?
>n-no i am actually listening to Prussian military marches...
>Russian military music? haha user your music taste is soooo weird tehee :)
>y-yeah haha
FUCK OFF ROASTIE GO LISTEN TO DRAKES NEW ALBUM OR SOMETHING YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND HIGH CULTURE, LOYALTY OR SACRIFICE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

You must be 18 years or older to use Veeky Forums

Dipset

I'm a metal head at heart. But I loaded classical music and orchestral music on my ipod exclusively for the gym.

>struggling to get weight up
>finally do
>music just happens to open up and be glorious at the same time
>tfw

>see dudes nodding their heads to music on their head phones
>I can't help but act like a conductor moving my hands to the music like some autistic beethoven.

>focus on lifts
>not focused on song skipping for the right song

>obtaining a sense of likes and dislikes in music and becoming more cultured and calm subconsciously

There are people who listen to Drake out there. Odd

>Prussian military marches
rec me some lad

>mongol throat singing
I-I thought I was the only one

Celtic and Nordic music mostly. Percussion heavy music makes me in the mood to lift.

Metal isn't manly.
Neither is any genre of music.
Little faggot.

Eh music doesnt really affect my lifts that much. I always end up taking my earphones off after about 45 min into my workout as they get in the way of bench or row or deads.

I'll mostly listen to Beatles or Arctic Monkeys or Sabbath.

Music isn't effecting your lifts because those bands aren't the types good for lifting.

I actually listen to my ex gfs favorite band. She was my best friend and the best thing that ever happened to me and I cheated on her. So when I hear the music I get depressed and then I turn it into anger against myself and my motivation is that at the end of the night if I'm not too tired to kill myself, I might just do it.

Swans for lifting, Kraftwerk for cardio.

Industrial, mainly Chu Ishikawa.

>metal is autistic
>meanwhile I will be indulging in the fine tunes of true music

orchestra is objectively the most autistic music, metal is super mainstream.

I listen to orchestral music from time to time but to call an incredibly popular and mainstream genre of music autistic while listening to that reveals your power level.

Just doing whatever you want isn't manly you fuckwit

It's admirable, but being 'manly' isn't that bullshit just do whatever you feel.

I'm not manly for cruising CL and finding a 60 year old to dress me up like a girl and fuck my ass, I'm 'manly' for waking up early, eating some eggs and going to the gym whether I want to or not.

>Autistic Monkeys
>Not good for lifting
You know that 90% of the people lifting heavy weights are autistic monkeys, r-right user?

Currently my gym playlist is:
Holiday - Green day
Here without you - 3 doors down
Boulevard of broken dreams - Green day
And my second playlist if I want to listen to something else:
Invincible - Adelitas way
Addicted - Saving Abel
Rage - Attila
I also do this but I do with multiple songs, usually three.

muh dick gets big as fugg

Sleep, Kyuss, Electric Wizard, Fu Man Chu, etc. Either that or hardcore/deathcore
