My max is 195kg and personally i find week 1 harder than 2, the 10 reps are not that hard i take 90 seconds between each set.

Is a 7 plate DL reasonable for a natty 220lb lifter? I never really see many people on here who pull like 700lb

I can rep 5plate for 5, and max at 250kg so im like 10kg of 6 plate and i still feel like an intermediate with plenty of room to progress.

From what I've seen of the two their programming does not look dissimilar, somewhat high intensity, plenty of focus on the comp lifts for the majority of your volume. They're both reputable desu.

Each day says to do 5 sets at RPE 9 at a weight you can do at least 15 reps.

It also says to add 5kg every session and deload when you can do

You've bamboozled yourself.

You start off with a weight you can do for 15+ reps. As you add weight the reps will slowly taper as a consequence of adding weight.

Also the progressions for spoto press and slingshot bench are different, you're only adding 10 kg to each a week.

No, not really. RTS guided programming seems kinda pricey, Izlee and underscore if he shows up would be the ones to ask.

Not to be a dink but I'd seriously consider Starting Strength if you're beginning (read the book though, the exercise lists floating around the net masquerading as SS are not what SS actually is).

My friend and I both took our deadlifts from 185# to 405# in 21-23 weeks on it and we're not great athletes at all.

I was having some on and off pain in what seemed to by my quadriceps tendon at the knee. A slightly wider stance, and staying tight with my torso in the hole, seems to have remedied it.

Gonna do a volume day, so aiming for a 400lb x12 deadlift. I've done it before but that was with a belt and straps, none of that today.

They will detect it if someone is on right then and there. Might leave the body faster than traditional methods though.
