>tfw WE WUZ

It was a common thing for Germanics to wewuzz about Scandinavian origin.

Why?

why not?

Because they were the greatest of the Migration Period tribes and were very unique as a people.

...

GIB

So? They went extinct for a reason.

Only because they spread themselves too thin and assimilated themselves into Roman culture.

...

The Celts.
I want to know who they actually were.
We know fucking nothing about them compared to every other major culture, from the Norse-Germanics to the Greco-Romans. At least a handful of Norse-Germanic religious lore survived in the Eddas and in folklore, but we don't really have much comparable that is definitively Celtic.
I want these niggas to come back so I can know who they was.

That's not a We Wuz, the Germanic Urheimat is Scandinavia + Northern Germany

They didn't. Their paternal lines are non-existant in Roman territories.

That only further proves my point.

Iordanes is WE WUZZING about the Getae,or more commonly, the dacians.

No. It doesn't. Paternal line you get after a father.

It does. If they weren't spread across Iberia, France, Italy, Pannonia, the Balkans and Ukraine, they might have survived as a distinct people and left a siginficant genetic mark. But they were spread too thinly over too large an area and as a result they were assimilated while leaving a negligible genetic trace on the regions they touched.
