"test boosters" and pre-workout are the most obvious Jewish tricks in fitness.
Having more free test within a natural range does nothing. Honestly you're either genetically gifted in building muscle or you're not. You'd need unnatural levels to fix this which requires real steroids, or at the very least abuse of peptides and SARMs but those are less effective.
Pre-workout is only good if you just take your own. Mix Citrulline Malate with coffee and take a B12 pill and that's better than every pre-made powder.

I don't really bother with a pre-workout. Kind of shits up your gains to be so reliant on caffeine in the first place. I drink coffee, but not enough that I need a 'kicker' to lift and not often enough that it affects my sleep in a meaningful way.

Is soy protein a meme or nah?

I'm not sure about soy protein isolate, but soy products have been known to affect hormones. Most notably, estrogen. Again, not sure if the isolate affects this.
Not to mention store-bought protein bars have a lot of unnecessary sugar, preservatives, and other shit your body doesn't really need. They are candy bars with (typically soy) protein added.

I supp magnesium because it's essential for every muscle in your body and you probably aren't taking enough of it because modern agricultural methods deprive earth of it. Also magnesium counteracts uric acid wich you will likely have too much of in your blood unless you're some vegan idiot.
