start with just the bar and work your way up, oly bars are only 45 lbs

Nice going dude good work on 80lb

Low weight high volume. You should almost never go above 90% of your max in any lift.

stick with dumbbells, what's the difference

I can't even hold 80lb dumbbells in my hands, jesus shit you are strong.

I do 275lb bar bench press with no spotter. I know several people who bench315+ on their own

>take your time
>slowly build to your max
>dont be afraid to bitch roll
>if youre that scared ask the person next to you to spot your next set. They almost always say yes.

No youre just weak

If you only barbell bench pressed you'd still have a small chest

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
DYEL?
HAHAHAHAHA
NEVER GONNA MAKE IT

Dumbells >>> Barbells

I'm gonna hope this is sarcasm. If not then wew.

Is it normal that I can bench 70kg bar for 12 reps but only 27.5kh (each) dumbbels.

Depends how long youve been lifting. Neither of those are good numbers

I think he meant 80 total

it's normal, dumbbells require more strength for the same weight

>These are the people who share a fitness board with you

You don't even need to ask for a spotter. Just start your set and if you fail someone will come and help. I see this all the time in my gym I don't know why everyone on the internet makes it a big deal.

That shit hurts like fuck. Better to just tip the weights off one side.

it really doesnt, just keep your core tensed and push it along

This was me back in the day

I realised if you have good technique and know your limits you can easily do the barbell bench without a spotter

I do it by myself in my house, I stopped giving a fuck. if I die I die who cares

sure "grandma"

op here meant 80lbs each
