I bought protein power for shakes but haven't touched it yet, cause I get 150-220g of protein per day while staying under 1800kcal

So protein powder is almost a must from what I can gather? I never drank those in my entire life. Are there any side-effects to them?

They're not a must at all, 60 grams of that protein comes from the shakes, I'm just lazy.

So even without the shakes you'd be at 160 grams easily.

Nah, think of 'protein powder' as just a food source, because that's all it is. It's a food source that is pretty much only protein - similar to the nutrition of a chicken breast or can of tuna or whatever. Just happens to be a powder due to production.

Around 22g I think, what don't you get? It shows 400 grams of chicken breast right? So that's ~90 grams of protein, tuna is about 20g protein per 100g as well. A can is ~150 grams, so let's say 30 grams of protein. So we're already at 120g protein without the eggs and cheese, both of which are protein rich as well.

My main meal each day consists of 500g chicken or turkey. That is anything from 125-150g of protein, depending what source you use to calculate.

It's pretty much powdered milk m8. Well not quite, but the protein is derived from whey which is a milk product. Protein powder isn't some crazy chemical compound, it's food.
