what you see on video is fraction of what he does

he takes exercise, warms up to it with same lift, singles or triples, so theres like 5 warmup sets and one all out pr set.

Then often he does backoff sets for "hypertrophy"

I get it that he knows his stuff and was a competitive wrestler, but isn't this too much for a beginner/intermediate? Usually muscle protein synthesis in younger lifters lasts far longer and they don't need/have/should train as often as advanced lifters.

And unlike rippletits his athletes actually look and perform like athletes.
