I re-downloaded tinder after using it in 2015. Something must be wrong with it though, I haven't been getting any matches when I could get them before no problem using the same pics.

Not really. I posted a link to the article here but the researchers only did the analysis on profile pics with a single photo. But, it seems like abs increase the female response rate more than anything else, so personally, I would put it as the first pic. Especially on a hookup-focused app like tinder
