MEPS on Wednesday and Thursday. I'm a little nervous as my mile is just around 10 minutes right now, but my push-ups and sit-ups are fine.

I'm going to be the oldest mother fucker there and, that in mind, most of my family is deceased or we're not on good terms so writing letters is going to be a bitch. Can't imagine being the one mother fucker not getting mail.

Need to shore up my weight and runs. I put in 5 miles a day and ruck at 60 lbs for 3-5, depending.

Going to add 100 laps a day in the pool and maybe a 5 mile bike ride, just to cardio out the ass.

Focus on bodyweight routine since I'm .75/1.25/2.75/3.5 on my lifts. Close enough, considering the constant cut.

I´ve reduced my deficite a bit since a average deficite of 1500kcal per day was kind of extreme for my verry small body.

Today I am one month into dieting. I've gone from 300 lbs to 275 this morning.

Do I run before or after my weight lifting workout to minimize muscle loss? I'm able to run 10 minutes at 6.5 mph. I will try to increase it to 20 min and eventually 30 min as I get skinnier. Do I run before, so I can go home, eat my protein and carbs to replenish as quickly as possible. Or do I do it after so I have more energy during my workout? I'm too lazy to jog during off days.

I weigh every week. I started my plan on April 30, 2017 at 256lbs. I'm down to 245lbs today for a total loss in that time of 11 pounds.

I went 2 weeks where the scale refused to move, but I made some changes and I'm losing now. My goal is 2 pounds or more a week, but I need to exercise a lot more for that to happen

a lb in a week is ok. should be the usual but at 245 you can push for 2 lbs a week until around 200ish. try to recount your diet. are you a grill or just post grills lifting?

I never understood how that trend formed up.
I mean, you still have bakeries, farmer's markets and grocery stores, right? Even if not, the supermarkets still carry fresh produce and raw grains, right? Why have Americans turned to processed packaged garbage so much more than everybody else? The same shit is available in Europe but the majority still buys raw ingredients and cooks at home.
I often hear how bad food is cheaper in the US, how do you manage to make a product cost less than the ingredients that went in it? Is there some organization subsidizing those products?

I'm a guy and my diet is fine. I don't want to go lower than 1800 calories a day. I just need to do my daily cardio. I also took a little weightlifting break because I injured my neck doing some benchpress without a bench.

Question: I was making my shopping list and it had skim milk on it, and my friend gets into a big huff about how it has more sugar than regular milk and no nutrients. I drink Skim because its got the same grams of protein but less calories. What am I missing out on by going with Skim milk?

best thing is, when I visited america, people seem to be too dumb to buy ingredients and cut them up for a salad. they buy their salad already done or from mcdonalds and shit, while complaining "MUH BURGERS MUH SALAD TOO EXPENSIVE THATS WHY WE FAT"

In Canada the nutritional information on products gives you fat as a percentage of daily allowance (which the government thinks should be practically nothing) but they give you sugar as a unit of grams as if you can have unlimited sugar in your diet.

I've avoided soda all my life, but today had a can of diet pepsi and discovered that not only was it 0 calories, but all it had was just a little bit of sodium.

I just ate an extra 800 calories today.

But the good news is that I no longer need to add sugar to my coffee, so that's 130 calories less per day.

I've been on gomad since around the beginning of march, and these are my results. Keep in mind I wasn't perfect but I drank a gallon at least around 8/10 days.

Should I cut it now that it's basically summer or have I not made enough progress to justify it and it's too late to cut anyway?

Some low fat products add sugar to make up for the relative blandness from removing the fat. Not sure if they do it with milk too, but that might be where he got it from. Easy to check on the packaging and avoid the products that do this.

Makes me sad to see all the people that fall for GOMAD+SS. SS in and of itself will make you look like shit. It's just for developing your nervous system to adapt to the lifts, so once you start going heavier on higher volume programs, you will not struggle with the form. Stop doing GOMAD bro. I would recommend switching to a higher volume 5x5 program while eating at a slight deficit. Once you start to plateau, increase your calories to a maintenance. Once you start to plateau again, increase the surplus a bit more. GOMAD is only for the super skinny guys, you are not one of them. In terms of a good volume program you should switch to, I'd recommend ICF 5x5 or AlphaDestiny's Novice program. Yeah Alex and Bloho are kinda memes, but they have really solid high volume programs that are great for building strength while also putting on a lot of size.
