Unlike these fatties, I actually ran 3 months of GVT. It's hard as fuck. Call me a pussy, but I then went back to 5x5 because I prefer lifting more weight per rep, than doing 100reps of a lighter weight.
Regarding gains, you will get them quite fast, if your nutrition and sleep schedule are on par.
If you want fast results, and a real challenge, go for it. But, in the end, make sure you re having fun. If you start dreading the workouts and become inconsistent, you'll get worse results than doing a brosplit
