Is it fine to work out while your muscles are a bit sore? Everytime I do any lower body training I go ham on the glutes (for the booty gains) but I end up being atleast just a bit sore for up to the next 3 days. Is it fine to workout while sore or is that gonna fuck up my recovery and gains? Could it be I'm not warming up/down well enough and i'm getting acid build up? Should I eat more protein?
I've been working out for roughly 2 months or so, I figured this wouldn't be as severe of a problem anymore.
Honestly I don't, I enjoy the burn since I know that my ass is gonna grow from it and I'm making progress. The issue is that, when I do workout on top of soreness I'll sometimes get even more sore the next day. This makes me worried I'm fucking up.

not only is it fine, but it's the best way to deal with that long time soreness.
serious.

Bro what if
I don't have tits?
Oh shit. Thankyou that's actual good advice. Do you find that, the soreness still goes away even after working out? Or is it just, somewhat persistent till you finally take a few days to recover?
Brandon Howard
Stop it, I came here for female glutes.
Jaxon Anderson
If the soreness is 99% gone after warmup - no probs lift away
Anthony Hall
No. In fact it's really bad. Only work through soreness if it's minor and more of a blurring soreness.
Liam Parker
You seem to be well stocked on ass pics OP.
Do you have that one of the really twinky soccer players in a group together eyefucking the camera?
Easton Thompson
There's already so much female ass on the internet though. Men's ass is actually more difficult to find. I'll try to be even and fair.
^Plus that guy didn't seem to mind so, embrace the booty man......you know you like it.
Honestly that doesn't happen for me, every time I go to do anything that makes me use my glutes or especially my quads if it's squats, I feel the little soreness when the muscle contracts. The harder I worker the more sore it feels. I can't even do just body weight squats or lunges without feeling it.
Shit. Now i'm getting contradictory advice. God dammit Veeky Forums.
Nah soz.

>asks for fitness advice on a fitness board >attention whore
How? No really how? It's literally a board about gaining mass, you don't think recovery and how to workout around it isn't very fucking related? Are you dumb?
You shut the fuck up retard, sorry you can't stop yourself from sperging out at the mere mention of...what exactly? Ass? Working out?
The only reason I'm still posting is since, no one's given like a good option and providing like, much explanation as to why it works. I'm still undecided on what to do. That's not really garnering attention m8.

How long have you been lifting? I say keep going and lift through the pain. Reduce weight if necessary to complete all sets. Learning how to deal with small pains and minor injuries is sort of a part of lifting
Aiden James
This of course assumes proper form n shit.

2 Months. I used to do it a lot but moved and didn't have my squat rack anymore. Now I'm back at a gym I've been just increasing weight slowly, I don't really increase it much since I'm focusing on building rather than getting stronger and if I'm quite sore the next day I figured I've gotten the job done. And yeah, it's hard to have good form with a lot of weight, especially when I'm really trying to target one specific area. My issue is that, even with less intense bodyweight workouts, I'm still sore. And that's fucking up my progress.
Plan of action right now seems to be to keep going even if I'm a little sore until it's too much and THEN take a day to recover.

>go ham on the glutes Hamstrings won't help your glutes silly

hue.

Just keep going, you will be fine. I'm continually at least a little sore in different parts of my body and I have been training consistently for 5 years now. The key is to go hard as well as work on different variations of lifts that will help train stabilizing muscles you don't always use that intensely in other exercises.

Haven't seen this pic since before the sips meme became a thing. Never noticed the can. This wasn't the inspiration for it or anything was it?
Can anyone predict what my butt and general mid-backside will look like once I'm done with my cut? honestly everything else is fine, but I have a really fatty backside/lowerback/upperlegs area and it sucks. Can post more photos if needed for greater predictions

Are you a girl?

That's clearly man booty. Women don't usually have wider hips and that little dip in his hip is a clear indication. Also look at how hairy his legs are.
Blake Powell
So basically that asking for advice on Veeky Forums is pointless and you should just look it up elsewhere.....

the trick is to stretch after your workouts, eat and get your nutrients and protons, and sleep for at least 7 hours

It honestly just looked like huge calves to me from the image.
The glutes here would be the 'calves'
the line the back makes down the middle is the separation between the hamstrings, etc.
