"Unshakable Freedom" is a new and fantastic introduction to Stoicism. It introduces the main philosophers and gives practical modern examples of how to apply the stoic principles.

At the end of the book, he recommends that beginners read the main stoic texts in this order:
>1. Epictetus, The Good Life Handbook
>2. Seneca, Letters from a Stoic
>3. Aurelius, Meditations

Meditations is absolutely worth reading, but it can be a lot to swallow at once if you aren't already in the stoic mindset. Best to read in pieces and actually meditate on each idea rather than trying to read it cover to cover.
