Tchaikovsky - 1812 Overture
Mendelssohn - The Hebrides Overture

>Not lifting gloriously

death grips

>must haves
ye, balls fucking fedora tipping faggot

Mars and Saturn also by Gustav Holst. Both are absolute bangers.

Traveler by David Maslanka.

Dedicatory Overture by I forgot but is also fantastic. The ending is awesome.

If you're feeling a little festive, A Christmas Festival by Leroy Anderson

>no Mars

Trips of truth.
I'm glad to see so many classicalfags here.

In the hall of the Mountain King is obligatory.

A lot og stuff my Sousa. Ie. Gladiator March and Stars and Stripes Forever.

this ALLL the FUCKING time

youtube.com/watch?v=YvcFlLegKSI

palestrina's vespers - the hilliard ensemble

machaut's motets - hilliard ensemble

monteverdi's motets (un concert spirituel)

anything by sequentia, especially their hildegard von bingen chants

stile antico and NY polyphony are also good

hesperion "voix d'istanbul" album has some dank 14th-century middle eastern chants

that should cover you for early polyphony. i'll let others recommend the baroque (hint: telemann > bach), romantic (hint: liszt > chopin), and other genres

also, camille saint-saens is iffy IMO, but you must give the short piece "calmes des nuits" a listen

I think the king's college recording is on youtube

You can't not have Siegfried's Funeral by Wagner

youtube.com/watch?v=-lxlQITXBAQ

would replace tchaikovsky's 1812 with his 6th symphony, and ditch fagner entirely, but that's just me

Non nobis domine from Henry V

Not the other user but the thing with 1812 is that it'd be really good for doing cardio to, since it starts slow, speeds up and slows down a little before going really fast at the end.

Mandatory:

Polovstian Dances
In the Hall of the Mountain King
The Marriage of Figaro Overture
Bacchanale from Samson & Delilah

I forgot the name but there's one really awesome song from the ballet Giselle

that describes almost every composition with a trio and a coda

Also interested, post playlist when done user

all wagner
all vivaldi

I would suggest one of the movements from Respighi's church windows, which, while not classical, is composed for full orchestra.

youtu.be/_dUGmvCQHsc

This movement attempts to invoke the divine power and grace of Saint Micheal, the archangel. I fell in love with the heavy brass usage of this peace during a marching season way back in high school and its been sneaking into my lifting playlist ever since.

OH WHAT A DAY
WHAT A LOVELY DAY TO LIFT

>classical music playlist

I am a violinist, and I would fucking never listen to classical at the gym or while doing physical labor. What is wrong with you people?

I bet you plebs will love Arvo Part
youtube.com/watch?v=tdoafPTSQpE
youtube.com/watch?v=n5ghhmWrubY

Yeah well this one has fucking cannons in it too

Jazz is pretty fun to listen to while working out though.

Jazz/Blues/Funk (+Mariachi if you are spic) is best manual labor music. Rock/Electronic and all their derivatives are best workout music imo.

Or maybe you guys tell me what genre is this?
