Europe no longer maintains the traditions of their glorious ancestors, so the "you can't claim credit for your race's accomplishments" meme applies here.

Pretty good

>life started with my birth

Russia had done more than Italy.

Your life may well have begun before you were born, still, you lack the moral character of your forefathers, so you are far from any justification for taking credit for their accomplishments.

> the moral character
The one which brings out two world wars to Europe?

>you have to be 100% perfect in order to claim you have any kind of moral character
no, the one which constructs modern civilization, a rather pivotal turn of events in the history of our planet

>laughably biased book based on western dictionaries
lol

What exactly it is supposed to be?

>denying european contribution superiority

>4000 BC - 2010
>individuals
This is so stupid. It's rather obvious that many people who invented some of the most important things such as copper, bronze, wheel, writing system, paper and so on won't be here.
I'm guessing that most people here would be from 19th century.

Europe would be nothing without China. From paper to the compass, everything really relevant was invented here.

> copper, bronze, wheel, writing system, paper
You can't invent them. They existed forever.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

China would be nothing without europe, without communism you would never have been able to be such a shitty country

Communism is Middle Eastern

>USA more than UK and Germany
Doubt.jpg

>implying commie jews didnt live in europe

China was always better than Europe, expect this one time, when Europeans decided to spread opium degeneracy. I guess, this is what is all this Europe superiority is all about, to bring down who are better than them with the cheesiest strategy possible, and even such attempt didn't last long. China is already more relevant than USA and EU together for the world economy. Do you know who colonizes Africa right now? Hint, it is China.

>china was always better
Heh..heh.. funny user
>china is more relevant than europe and usa
Hahahah user good joke
>china is colonizing africa
AHAHABAHHABAHBAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHABAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAAHHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAABHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHHA

Laugh while you still can.

>chink thinks his market wont collapse as soon as exports to usa, russia and europe stop
just don't go get high with opium, relaxxx

>china is more relevant than europe and usa
>china is colonizing africa
those 2 are correct tho
we are living in the Chinese century
they have it all: large population, monopoly on several of the world's most important resources, no democratic process/government that slows their plans down, large cash reserves, large foreign currency reserves, holds the USA in a debt-chokehold, buying up strategic companies (infrastructure, power companies,...) around the world, and many more strategic advantages
I don't see anything except a nuclear war stop them from becomming the number 1 global super power

Do you know china is a foreign debt based economy and that if western countries collapse so does china's growth. Yes, its growing but there's always a limit. It will never reach development levels of europe and usa.

>based on western dictionaries
it wasn't

No offence to America, but i can't think of many famous US scientists. I can however name alot of German and British scientists
-Newton
-Einstein
-Maxwell
-Planck
-Faraday
-Heisenberg
-Young
-Haber
-Darwin
-Hertz
-Davy
-Rontgen
-Harvey
-Oppenheimer
-Dalton

>In each field Murray identifies a number of sources (leading encyclopedias, histories and surveys) providing information about the leading figures in the field. The rankings are made from information in these sources.

I believe it depends on who are you consider to be famous and who to be unimportant. Like, do Thomas Edison counts? What about Robert Oppenheimer? That guy who invented Coca-Cola?

That is a big question, though it can be summed up as the values of science and enterprise.

Every culture has similar values, though few are quite as dedicated as late 19th century Europe and Britain from the late 17th century up until the modern social upheavals. Napoopan derided the Anglos as a perfidious nation of shopkeepers and confucians derided merchants while Britain was the first to apply the values of their upper-middle class Jewish friends on an imperial scale. Though Anglo adherents did not convert to Judaism, freemasonry became a suitable alternative and characterized this cultural transformation up until the early 19th century when the society became flooded with posers and noobs.

This shocks the modern right and the left. The right, like confucians and other conservatives, are shocked by the sacrifices they are willing to make for prosperity and have all sorts of conspiracy theories. The left view them as evil capitalist pig dogs bla bla.. The west has lost its classical liberal values, the third way, the right way. I'll leave it there since I am replying to a 1 line post, but you have enough to go on if you want to look into it yourself.

I suppose edison is famous
But Newton and Einstein alone should blow any competition out the water.

Those don't sound necessarily western no particularly like dictionaries to me, user.

They were all written by Western authors. It's like with Bloom's Western canon. Only people known in the West are there. Some of the most important Slavic writers are completely ignored.

By the way where are you getting these images from, this one is considerably different to the first one

Source: Europeans

This one is filtered to include only the most relevant people.

What's the source?
Also is this quite indicative of the actual accomplishments of the discoveries?

Edison is mainly famous for the lightbulb though which was actually invented by Joseph Swan

>edison is mainly famous for the light bulb
without that he'd be famous for the first real industrial research laboratory

It is from Pantheon Media. It calculates who is more famous using Wikipedia. Accurate or not, who knows? It is all pretty subjective.

>hitler not even up there
there's literally a wikipedia game about trying to get to hitler's page by following hyperlinks, how can he not even be on the top 10

Don't make me come over there and sell you some more opium. America is far more powerful than China economically and militarily for the Chinese to ever pose a threat.

I have some serious doubts about this ranking...

Hitler isn't a scientist, user.

please excuse my retardation

I mean, it uses the english version of wikipedia. Then again, pretty much every scientist around the world has a page on that site, so it probably doesn't matter too much.

neither was marx technically

It actually uses all languages, but they all borrow heavily from English one, so there is some bias.

>da vinci and Archimedes above Newton and Einstein
Severe doubt

What is scientific socialism?

What, like lysenkoism?
Memes aside, I don't think marx considered himself a scientist

I mean scientific method in history that was invented by Charles Marx and promoted by Friedrich Angel

what

Define achivement.

A lot of these are bullshit
Gas cylinder?
Pinhole camera?
Chinaboos please

this post reeks of leftypol

Yes, Europeans were pretty awesome on the last 500 years. The future, however, belongs to East Asia. Whether it's about AI, genetic engineering or space exploration, they'll be at the forefront of it all.

The question is, how will European achievement be seen in the future, in a non-Eurocentric world? My guess is that it will be seen the same way as the achievements of the Ancient Near-eastern civilizations and China. You know that writing, pottery, irrigation, paper and gunpowder were invented by them, but cannot point out the specific people that invented those things, nor the procedures they used to get their inventions working. Likewise, the invention of the train, for example, will be attributed to "Europeans" in a generic sense, and not to Richard Trevithick from Great Britain. That information will be forgotten and be erased from history.

well they have a massively artificially grown population, far worse than any western countries. When theyve run out of food theyl collapse upon themselves as they always do in waves. Up they rise and down they fall.

>turkey is Asian
Wrong,

Stop with this shit, its literally the European version of "WE WUZ KANGZ N SHIET".

But they were kings and whatnot.

>Literally a map of Europe and the anglosphere
Why are other Euros such shit
Spain France and Germany have historically had far larger populations and accomplished shit.

Isn't Alchemy literally Proto-Chemistry
