Have you ever met a girl that was interested in history

Never in my life have I met a girl that even liked history. Why do roasties hate history so much bros?

Because it is a recollection of the story of society which is inherently masculine

Women are not concerned with past or the future, only with the present.

Who cares women are terrible

A better question is why do they dislike most intellectual pursuits

Could you guys tone down the sexism please?

I never met a girl who had all my interests at the same time. Sometimes I'd like to be a girl just to bring into existence the idea of my soulmate, me but female

>go to party, chat up a girl
>try to change the topic to 1942 carrier battles in the pacific
>....
>profit

Go rent some furniture form Aaron's you fucking poorfag

>go to party
Fuck off normalfag

Girls are hobby parasites. They don't like anything until a man makes them like it. Sex is a perfect example of this. If a girl does something freaky in bed its because a man did it to her first.

Make them like history.

The only people who like history:

>Reclusive neckbeards, focus only on military shit, probably wehrboos at best or nazi sympathizers at worst who also glamorize Rome
>Neocons
>The dying class of professional historians
>SJWs that focus on Africa/capitalism being evil

Girls and blacks don’t like history because they’ve been second class through most of it

>Try to change the topic to 1942 carrier battles in the pacific
>Shes more into dreadnought era battleships

>Never in my life have I met a girl that even liked history.
Because you're probably into the battles & kings history that girls tend to avoid.

Girls' interests in history largely lie on art & noble dynasties n shit. We're talking Philippa Gregory tier.

>inb4 you're wrong they're into womyns history/feminism
In both Genders, I'm not talking of people in the academe though.

>I want a girl who shares my faggy interest
Insert brainlet wojack here

This, your women should compensate for what you lack. You should have one or two mutual interests so you have things to do together but just because she doesn't like history that should't be a hangup.

My gf is a history major. I'm not even that into history I just come here for the memes and because I think history is important no matter what you do in life

>making up things on the internet

You just can’t accept that he’s the main character and we’re all npcs

>In graduate school
>Getting MA in Russian History
>Lots of pretty attractive girls in my classes
>They were knowledgeable, well informed, and easy to work with

Veeky Forums is too disconnected from the real world

I don't see what's so unbelievable about this

Women can write history kino

Jesus user you really are a dumb grad student

Why would you?

Lol, you realize Veeky Forums is made up of other people participating the same real world as you right?
How are you so sure your class (which you most likely made up) is a better representation of the world then all the other people who agree to the contrary?

>If a girl does something freaky in bed its because a man did it to her first.
That's called learning by experience. You think some men don't learn to do freaky things from women?

You're an idiot. Maybe they just don't like you

Why is this a gif?

keep it open for 3 hours and you'll see a naughty image

Of course men can learn from women, I'm not denying it. I'm saying those women originally learned from another man. Everything they do in bed is because a man taught them at some point. They don't experiment and they don't try new things on their own.

Our mothers' basements aren't part of the real world friend.

If neocons liked history they wouldn't be neocons.

Honestly tho, it's hot af when you get an eager and slutty girl who wants to teach you all kinds of fucked up stuff. Even better when she's shocked at how big you are lol.

>THIS

Yeah but it all ends when you inevitably exit pornhub

Don't (You) me with that stupid shit

a man of taste

I'm a history major and have had several female professors in the subject. I've been kinda flirty with one other female history major, she was pretty hot. But her understanding on the subject was definitely inferior (not trying to brag, it just was, most here probably knew more). But some of my female professors were brilliant, none were too attractive though, maybe when they were younger...

I've met many, though some have had a rather shallow desire and limited worldview, I've met at least 2 who love it as much as I do, for it's own sake.

>Never in my life have I met a girl that even liked history
once, maybe twice

>Why do roasties hate history so much bros?
because "roasties" aren't the type of women who are interested in education of any kind

90% of the faggots on Veeky Forums are neckbeards with no lives.

>projecting
do you have any evidence for that?

One, two, and three are sadly merging into the same thing

Someone turn down the lights and get this guy a screen.

I met my ex-girlfriend through an internship we were both doing at a local museum/historical society. Unfortunately we were ultimately incompatible and it didn't work.

Men don't either. You're proposing a chicken and egg scenario and acting as though you have the answer. You don't. Where did the idea to "experiment in bed" come from? Who is to say women don't experiment in bed?

Most graduate programs are full of women.

i have literally never seen a woman in my life
hohol mafia

The hottest blonde I've ever met was a history major.
KYS

met a few ama

>this is considered kino in Angloland

I've met some girls into history.

They are... something. For sure.

>We're talking Philippa Gregory tier.

Philippa Gregory isn't a historian and most women even vaguely into the Tudor era loathe her for making Anne Boleyn into a crazy bitch who fucks her brother.

Men don’t really either user. How many normals do you know that seriously give a shit about history? And most people who do only care about it due to some outlying fixation, such as “My family is from England so I’m into English history.” I go on this board is because I have no one (male or female) to talk about history with irl

...

Roasties want to forget the past. All of them.

All women love yaoi.

>Go to my girlfriend's house for the first time
>Her room has a huge as fuck bookshelf filled to the brim with history books
>Have read barely anything outside of mandatory school work myself

Pic related, how I felt there.

>History degree
>PHD in historical literature
>not a historian

Most girls that were in my history classes were wives and girlfriends or just hambeasts.

I did get into a cool as fuck conversation with a girl about Victoria 2 and Crusader Kings 2. Too bad she was taken. Her boyfriend was "that girlfriend" who only took the class to be near her.

>A girl into paradox games
I seriously doubt this but if it's true she's waifu material

She's trans, so...

She loved Crusader Kings 2 the most. Which is obvious why.
Victoria 2 she tried to play but couldn't get into its mechanics as well.
We talked about our games and silly shit we did in them.

She was a cool chick that I would liked to have dated.
I wish. I wouldn't mind if she had a dick if she was pretty like her and played the same games as me.

Good question

>Why is her boyfriend keeping an eye on guys wanting to have her, how lame
>Yeah, I would have totally dated her

No shit sherlock

I never asked that question. Good job looking like an idiot.

Are you not the guy who complained about the fact her boyfriend was around, implying he has nothing to worry because you can keep it platonic. Whereas at the same time praising her, wishing you had dated her.

You're a sleaze ball faggot.

>She's trans
Then "she" is not a "she" or "girl".

>I wouldn't mind if she had a dick if she was pretty
Of course you wouldn't mind, you're as twisted and superficial as "Xer".

Yes :3

Faggot

Tits or GTFO

>he thinks trannies have tits

They do if they take hormones

>"Oh those old books lol they're my brotherssss~"

My current girlfriend is one. She has a B.A. in history and she enjoys arguing about it all the time. It really isn't uncommon at all.
>pic related; more than 40% of people holding a Bachelor's Degree in History are women.

>Women are the most represented in master programs
>Women are the least represented in doctoral programs

What gives?

>"Manly" Men: Huh *sniffs* the humanities aren't important. Real men do STEM & Business.
>Also Manly Men: WTF WHY IS BUTTRETARDED FEMINISM ON THE RISE???

>attractive women aren't interested in histo....

Well considering 1/3 to 1/2 of my fellow students (and also about 1/3 of the professors) at uni were girls, I'd say yes.

> studying history at university

SHIGGY

I want to say teachers. It's pretty common for the better kind of high school teachers to go back for a MA, but of course they're not gonna bother with the full phd track.
And given that education is a female dominated field..

Man, I study history at university and even the girls who study it aren't interested in it in their personal time.

My ex had a history ba in Ottoman and Balkan history. She gave me her "the balkans since 1543" book before we broke up. Still haven't read it though.

fuck, just realized I do the same :(

Once dated a Hmong girl. She liked it when I told historical stories like The Russian Navy's journey to Tsushima for example. She agreed with me that Koreans have a boring history.

Easy: It doesn't further their interests. Men need and want status and achievement to get married etc. Women (in pretty much any agricultural society) have no such standards. They also would have trouble truly putting their whole life towards it like some men do. That is, I think women are conditioned and understand that being autistic isn't going to get them anywhere.

The ones who do, are generally "masculine" precisely because it takes rejecting the typical life path of a woman in our society to succeed as an intellectual.

That said, I think generalizations like this don't hold at high levels of achievement. Plenty of women get PhDs, professorships, etc. in history.

Does it make you sad when you read it?

You can have as many degrees as you like, but when your "historian" knowledge is used to write sloppy historical fiction that makes the Showtime Tudors TV series look like a dry but wholly accurate document, you shouldn't call yourself a historian. She's written a total of 0 non-fiction works, co-wrote 1 non-fiction book a few years ago, and has been constantly debunked for her bizarre claims and takes on history. No serious historians consider anything she's said or written as remotely worthwhile.

>she's trans
>someone who considers themselves an intellectual is succumbing to their indoctrination in their private lives
holy crap dude, it's time to die

youtu.be/stbxQxGz1UM
>You will never have this

Yea most of them are middle/high school teachers or aspiring to be and they only take an interest in it insofar as it confirms their vaguely feminist personal beliefs.

I have met some who are exceptionally intelligent though, but they are usually fantastically unattractive.

Looks like the Russo-Turkic clusterfuck shitshow is a nice metaphor for your failed relationship

Pro-tip: their liking or disliking of history makes no differences whatsoever on whether they'll date you or not.
There was like no intraclass dating in my graduation cohort.

I've met a few that are. Once you get into upper-division classes, there are people who are actually interested in the topics. There was a qt in this class I was in about the late Roman Empire, which is such a niche topic I was surprised. There was also a qt in my Russian history class who is now a grad student.

I definitely agree with the basic premise though, that men are generally much more interested in history. It's not rare for there to be a 3:1 male:female ratio in upper-division history classes, and I've seen classes where there's only one girl in a class of ten or more people.

Well, my history major "class" consists of:
Girls
>art history alt-girl
>ultra-religious girl
>two girls who love history but aren't passionate about it
>one girl who studies history in order to write historical fiction
>a very short harelip outcast 1/10 girl who is proplbably as interested in history as much as me but never talks to anyone
And for guys:
>a chill stoner guy
>turbo-autist who rarely speaks
>computer enthusiast
>world politics enthusiast
>the lazy but extremely lucky guy
>the new guy who still isn't part of the group
>the shitposter (me)

Yea I didn't mean to intimate that men are exempt from being fundamentally unserious regarding studying history in college. I've got this laxbro, for instance, in my Great War class who sits on his computer the whole time- I have no idea how the fuck he's gotten there.

t. fat Virgin with small pecker

Have you considered that he's using his computer for notes, or can you see that he's slacking on it?

To be fair, that's pretty disproportionate when you consider how women are a hefty majority in universities.

Yea he looks at barstool sports and facebook
